The VT Seva Tampa Bay Area Chapter conducted a School Supply Drive for the school year 2011-2012.
This collection drive is for abused, abandoned and neglected children in the Tampa Bay Area.
There are over 5900 foster children in the Tampa Bay area.
The VT Seva volunteers encouraged one and all to come forward with donations of school supplies and backpacks.
Many people came forward to join the noble cause and donated generously.
The items were delivered to the Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, Inc on August 5th, 2011.
Ms.Nanci March, Resource Manager from Kids Charity of Tampa Bay Inc. received VT Seva volunteers and expressed her gratitude.
She personally gave a tour of their premises to the VT Seva volunteers explaining the activities in detail.
Following is the excerpt from an email from her,
“Hello Kamal and all our wonderful VTSeva friends,
Thank you so very much for your generous donation! I really cannot express how much we appreciate it – and how much of a difference you are making. I just finished working on a large order for supplies and your group has made that possible! We look forward to working with you more in the future.
Thank you, again. I look forward to meeting all of you!
- Nanci March, Resource Manager, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, Inc.”
VT Seva volunteers and families who donated to this noble cause realized how much fortunate they are to participate in an event to help neglected kids.
Children of VT Seva volunteers realized the importance of helping other human beings especially kids of their age.
