Thank you for all the volunteers who took time out of their holiday on Sept 25th to assist with placing stickers on books at Bernie’s book bank. All the books sorted will soon be delivered to underprivileged children in Chicagoland area, making a significant impact on their access to literature and education. 
 As a token of appreciation for volunteer time, book bank kindly gifted “Hogwart’s library Collection - set of 3 books” for all the volunteers and everyone were very happy to receive it. We want to recognize and extend our sincere appreciation to the volunteers who made a meaningful difference through their dedicated efforts during this activity

VTSEVA Youth volunteers cleaned local streets and parks of trash or litter, working to keep our cities clean! Before Covid, volunteers used to go together and adopt a street. Now guidelines have changed to minimize the spread of COVID-19. It is now an individual activity. Each member provides a date and time they plan to do the activity. Then after they finish their trash picking they collect the following information. Time, date, location of the activity, how much distance they covered and names of the streets/how much trash was collected

Atlanta Lambert VT Seva youths participated in ‘Toys For Tots’ on Dec 22nd to make sure Santa’s sleigh is filled and ready to deliver toys this Christmas! Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. This is year end project of Lambert youth members to spread the holiday cheers.

We concluded an amazing high-energy 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗧 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗮 '𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲'' tournament successfully! With the funds raised in this tournament, we can support the education of 𝟏𝟐 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 of Nethra Vidyalaya school for the entire year. The players, referees, volunteers, viewers/supporters, and parents were simply FABULOUS supporting the cause. The games were played with the right spirit and attitude from the beginning to the end. The game coordinators and timekeepers were extremely diligent in ensuring the scores and timings are kept as per schedule. The event would not have been a grand success without the valuable contributions of VT Seva Volunteers.Hours of prep work went into making this a successful event.

From April 5-6, 2023, Lambert VT Seva students volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store. This thrift store allows the needy to have access to clothes and other products FOR FREE. Many products are kindly donated, and the products in good condition are put out for sale. We are glad to have helped out there; the store was very neat and orderly. It also had a wide variety of good quality products. When volunteering there, we volunteered in small groups for 2 hours each. Everyone was given various tasks to help keep the store in order. Some of the things we did were vacuuming the floor, rearranging products, tagging clothes, steaming the clothes, taking out the trash, helping at the front desk, etc. It was a very unique and fun experience!

RAFT’s mission is to help educators transform a child’s learning experience through hands-on education to one that inspires the joy and discovery of learning. It's vision is to inspire the next generation of innovators, by providing educators with stem based resources. Volunteers will help sort and package materials for use by teachers for hands on teaching purposes. By volunteering with RAFT, organization skills, communication skills, and social skills are gained.

VT Seva hosted a delightful event on May 10th that brought together the Utsav Success Meet and a Mother's Day celebration. It was a fantastic day filled with joy and gratitude. The highlight was definitely the heartfelt notes written by VT Seva youth members, celebrating their amazing moms. The event was a perfect mix of acknowledging the hard work of our volunteers and showing love to all the wonderful mothers. It was a memorable day, full of smiles and warm moments!

What a delightful day it has been! We immersed ourselves in the joyous spirit of creativity and celebration, surrounded by the colorful Rangoli by all participants. Adding further charm to the festivities, the air was filled with excitement as children participated in the lively Fancy Dress competitions!!!

𝐕𝐓 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 celebrated Father's r's Day with the dads in 3 senior centers in Livonia, MI. 45 volunteers came together and created 75 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 to wish them a happy Fathers day Cards have been distributed to 3 senior centers 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫, 𝐎𝐚𝐤𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 and they were so happy to receive the cards! This project was initiated by the Youth Board Member 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉.

Representing Team VT Seva Houston, Yashna and Krishna Chokkarapu participated in the 2021 Texas MS (Multiple Sclerosis) 150 Event. They raised $1100 in support of the National MS Society which aims to stop Multiple Sclerosis in its tracks!

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝟮 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 All items being prepared are going into their creative kits that are continuously being supplied to children across Detroit. Sock loops are loops of fabric provided to them by soccer manufacturer/textile. These loops are a mainstay in every project and kit they make. Youth volunteers were given instructions on each kits which they followed and successfully completed their tasks. 𝟭𝟰 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝟮 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.
