Volunteer service is important to me because it increases my awareness of my privilege, and gives me a way to help people. I really like VTSeva because it is a very welcoming and fun community, in addition to giving me opportunities to volunteer. A fun fact is that 6 years ago, I took part in a skit for UTSAV about the Enron scandal, where I played the secretary, and now I am secretary of the Seattle branch!
