I have been volunteering with VT Seva for one and a half years. I have participated in and enjoyed community service individually for the past four years, and I wanted to experience volunteering with a group of people my age. For the past four years, I have been volunteering at a program called FCSN, where I teach music and art to children with special needs. Seeing the impact that my volunteering has on the kids inspired me to work harder and take part in more challenging projects when I began volunteering at VT Seva. For me, burrito wrapping was the most fun activity. While it was messy and there were some wrapping mishaps, everything always came together at the end and working as a team allowed us to finish much earlier than planned.
