This prestigious national selection follows their exceptional performance at the 2nd Andhra Pradesh Goalball Tournament, held over the last two days in Anantapur, where Nethra Vidyalaya students showcased extraordinary skill, leadership, and teamwork.

The girls’ team, comprising 𝐊. 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐲𝐚, 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐝𝐡𝐢, 𝐒𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 delivered a dominant performance. This trio played together as a team and emerged as the 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 of the Tournament, earning well-deserved recognition.
Each of our boys led his respective team as Captain:

Hansika was honored as Woman of the Match and later received the Woman of the Tournament award for her outstanding performance.

Our visually challenged champions made waves at the 7th State Para Swimming Competition held on Oct 12, 2025, in Eluru, showcasing incredible skill, confidence, and determination! Swimmer from across Andhra Pradesh competed, and the best-timed performers will move on to represent the state at the National Para Swimming Championship in Hyderabad (Nov 16 - 18).

Despite facing intense competition from 40+ teams in each event, the students showcased remarkable innovation and teamwork. While they narrowly missed the semifinals in the first two categories, their farming project for the visually challenged stood out for its ingenuity and social impact, earning them the 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. This recognition is a true reflection of their creativity, compassion, and the spirit of inclusive education nurtured at Nethra Vidyalaya.

14th Junior & Sub-Junior Para-Athletics Competition in Gwalior
We are proud to share the remarkable achievements of our students from Varija Nethra Vidyalaya School, who represented our institution at the 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 & 𝐒𝐮𝐛-𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚-𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 held from 29th to 31st August 2025 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Center for Disability Sports, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
A total of 15 students participated, and together they won multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, bringing immense pride to Nethra Vidyalaya. From blazing performances on the track to powerful throws and soaring jumps, every student gave their best and shone brightly.

The 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐖𝐒𝐑𝐎) conducts innovation-driven competitions that inspire students to apply STEM concepts through hands-on challenges in robotics, science, and engineering. It provides a national platform for students to showcase creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
𝐒𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐢 secured 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 for inventing a customized cane to support visually challenged individuals in farming. Their project has been selected for the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥-𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝.

𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢, a visually challenged B.Com student from Netra Vidyalaya JIVA campus, has made 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 by winning 𝑮𝑶𝑳𝑫 at the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐁𝐒𝐀 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 - a prestigious event hosted by the Karnataka Blind Sports Association in Udupi-Manipal.
This year’s competition marked a powerful first women were welcomed onto the stage and Hamsika rose to the occasion with unmatched grit and grace, competing among athletes from 11 Indian states.
