VT seva offers summer internship

VT Seva invites High School Students globally to participate in “VT Youth Summer Internship Program" in India for summer of 2023 at VT Seva Sponsored Schools for Tribal & Visually Challenged Students. Through this program interns get to participate in cultural exchange and benefit schools for the underprivileged by taking up several projects.

 

​Through this program, interns get to stay at the Jeeyar Gurukulam (School for Tribal Students), conduct workshops related to spoken English, sports, geography, current events etc. Interns will be spending time with the students at their boarding and classrooms as part of the internship.

 

​On their return to their respective home country, interns are expected to submit their experience in order for their volunteer hours certified.​

Program Highlights:

• Seven day upto 14 day cultural exchange program with orientation and service-learning.

• Earn volunteer hours and get them certified for US President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).

• Experience the lifestyle of the Tribal Students and understand their needs.

• Opportunity to take lead and prepare for project(s) before starting internship.

• Develop new interests, make friends.Participate in local sports and other activities with the Tribal Students.

• Opportunity to sponsor a Tribal student.

• Opportunity to visit to a few local attractions/sightseeing, weather permitting.

• Chaperoned by adult VT Seva volunteers from the USA.

 

 Session 1: June 24th - July 5th
 Session 2: July 15th - July 26th
