​Our Mission

To see all children and adults of the impoverished communities of India and other countries have access and opportunities to quality education and healthcare and enable them to live with dignity and pride. 



How to help

All the branches of VT Seva conduct annual fundraising events to support education and complete care of these underprivileged children. Our upcoming annual events UTSAV in Seattle, ALOK in Houston, DAYA in Nashville, RAAS in Detroit, SUBHADA in Virginia and TEJA in Minnesota are being conducted with a goal to empower 700 underprivileged children. It takes just $1/day to support one full year of a child's education

"I was born in Warangal, AP, India. I came from a poor family and lost my father when I was 4 years old. My mother helped for my education. Now, I am the President of JSMN International Inc, a Computer Consulting Company. Since 2007, I have been involved in Schools for Tribals supported by VT Seva. I sponsor 87 kids at Allampalli School for Tribal students and contribute $87 a day. You too can be part of it. A dollar a day can make a huge impact! "

"My name is Bhamam Motilal. I speak Mathura, a scriptless language. I am studying in 9th grade. I am from Mandgalsingh Thanda (tribal settlement). I am studying here from primary school. Before joining this school, we used to herd cattle and work as a daily labor. I would like to reach greater heights in my life and I will never forget this school. Our teachers are staying with us and providing excellent guidance. My goal is to become a teacher and pass on the knowledge to students"

Activities so far

  • Free education for ~12,000+ underprivileged children from tribal communities from 2004 

  • Empowering ~2500+ visually challenged children  with education and livelihood from 2001 

  • 1222+ cancer awareness and prevention camps 

  • 1.2 Million+ women benefited from cancer awareness and screening

  • 257,385+ cervical cancer screening tests 

  • 55+ walk-a-thon’s across USA promoting cancer awareness, childhood obesity, sucide prevention 

  • Partnering with universities in US to leverage technology, process, and people learnings for empowering the visually challenged. 

  • Actively engaging youth & adults in volunteering and philanthropic activities like  

  • Awareness and fundraising walkathons, food drives, adopt-a -street programs, health camps, cooking for the homeless, book drives, services to battered children, services to veterans, service at food banks,...etc.  

  • Winner of Boston Scientific grant for cancer screening and prevention. 

  • Winner of LinkedIn, amazon and PayPal grant awards 

  • Stood #3 world-wide (out of 2500+ non-profit organizations in us) in chase community giving campaign.

  • Recognized by the US President’s office for the service hours. 

  • Recognized by 100+ companies for employee matching programs. 

  • School for the visually challenged awarded as the ‘Best school in India’ by national association of blind, won many awards at Asian Paralympics.
