VT Seva Youth summer internship was a life changing experience for me, and it helped me become a better person. Although I went there to teach and motivate the kids, I ended up learning a couple of things myself, and I was truly inspired by the kids and what they were doing. I will definitely be able to use some of these skills in high school. The most fun part of this internship was meeting the students, and they are what made this internship such an amazing experience. I hope I have the privilege of coming again to meet all the students.
This summer internship was very thrilling and enlightening as we learned just as much as we thought to give them. I would definitely recommend this internship to any other interested high schoolers; it was a great mutualistic cultural and social exchange."
This internship was a very beautiful experience. It almost feels like a dream now, a dream that I would like to indulge in again. It taught me many important lessons which I will remember for life. As a service to this cause, I would like to spread this truth and continue to work for the betterment of the society. Now that I think about it, living simplistically like the kids did was much more relaxing than the bustling, stressful life in U.S. Because all you really need to be happy is a hut, a few cows and goats, and the eagerness to learn more.
