Highlighting these efforts, 323 youth volunteers were honored with the President's Volunteer Service Awards, a testament to their unwavering dedication and inspiring spirit of volunteerism.

🌸 Celebrating Mother's Day with Love and Creativity! 🌸 We are thrilled to share that VT seva Cary 50 amazing youth volunteers have come together to create beautiful Mother's Day cards. Their heartfelt creations were distributed to seniors through Meals on Wheels and Durham Centers, spreading joy and warmth on this special day .A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers for their time, effort, and creativity. You have truly made a difference in the lives of our seniors. 💖

VT Seva Detroit volunteered at capuchin soup kitchen on January 27th, 2024. This kitchen helps feed those who are homeless and can’t afford healthy daily meals. 9 VT Seva Detroit volunteers (Youth and Adults) volunteered at the soup kitchen in Detroit, MI and helped serving and prepping food, as well as cleaning up after.

VT Seva Atlanta celebrates National Police Week & pay tribute to the brave men & women in duty to keep our communities and families safe. Police Chief, Mark Mitchell, Sergeant Dimitri Caldwell, Sergeant Colin Belisle, Officer Dominique, Officer Jennis, Officer Hall, and Officer Gray attended the ceremony today. Also, Erin Elwood and Dilip Tunki, Johns Creek City Councilwoman and Councilman attended the function. They rendered PVSA Awards to our 37 Atlanta youths and were highly impressed with the service attitude & service projects of Atlanta VT Seva youths. We have built partnerships with the Johns Creek Police department and Johns Creek City Council members and soon will be launching collaborative projects with them. Atlanta VT Seva held PVSA Award Ceremony and Police appreciation event along with City council meet at Johns Creek City Council building on May 20, 2023. Dr. Madhu Nemani delivered the welcome note, appreciating the youths, police officers, volunteers and went over the initiative and projects done by the Atlanta youths. A beautiful and well-prepared video by our youth Nikhila was played to the audience which showcased all the great work out Atlanta youth has done during the year. All the Cards prepared by our youths for the police officers were also on display at the event. Council members, Police Sergeant and Dr. Madhu Nemani discussed some projects that will provide an opportunity for our youths to do more for the community. Further, Sergeant Dimitri Police gave the tour of gave a tour of Johns Creek Police Department and youths had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Johns Creek police department. It was also discussed to provide an opportunity for the other youths to have such tours to gain insight into the police officers day to day work. The event was concluded by thanking all the Police officers, city council members and volunteers for taking their valuable time out of their busy schedule to be present and making the event successful. Police officers were provided with Yummy Pizza and refreshments as a token of appreciation for their dedication and commitment in serving the community. We are very proud of 37 youths and 1 adult volunteer who were recognized for their contribution in serving the community during the year 2022 with Gold, Silver and Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. These awards were presented by the Police officers and Council members and each awardee also received a water bottle from the Police officers.

Houston Food Bank - 06/03/2023 A big shout out to all youth and adult volunteers for their active participation at the Houston Food Bank. Work at the Houston Food Bank included filling, sealing, packing rice packets, loading rice into containers and post cleaning. Together volunteers were able to pack around 5000 lbs of rice. The team had a great time working together for this great cause!

VT Seva Detroit PackPink Kits Volunteering for ThePinkList org towards Karmanos Cancer Institute

The Pink List is a nonprofit organization that provides resources to families affected by breast cancer, while further raising awareness around breast cancer. ThePINK List is committed to sending chemotherapy care packages (Pink Kits) to Karmonos Cancer Institute for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, includings 50 patients at the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Each Pink Kit includes:Pink fuzzy socks; Unscented moisturizer; Lip balm;Pink journal and pen;Herbal tea bags and a letter of hope. Oasis Skin Studio hosted The PinkList Packing event in their studio. VT Seva Detroit got an opportunity to help them pack these kits and sort out their kits as per their instructions & we were able to pack 46 kits overall in an hour. Lending support is great, but cancer patients can also benefit from positive messages. Our youth volunteers also wrote kind letters of encouragements, inspirational things for these cancer patients . We hope their words of hope motivates them to get through another day of their hospital treatments and bring some smile on their faces.

VT Seva Seattle youth club team decided to celebrate their valentine week by sharing their love and gratitude to frontline workers. They have made beautiful poster filled with personalized messages and served delicious meals to Swedish Issaquah ER team and Northwest Ambulance Emergency Technicians. Swedish Hospital Issaquah Campus Northwest Ambulance Critical Care Transport EMT - Emergency Medical Technicians. When a patient in critical condition needs to be transferred from one facility to another, that patient needs a higher level of transport service. This service is known as a Critical Care Transport or CCT level of service. Our Youth worked on this project since a month and written personalized messages to make a big poster and delivered it to Heroes.

Sitting down and getting to talk to these incredible people with amazing stories is truly one of the most rewarding experiences someone can have. We had a great evening of serving lemonade and popsicles while talking to the seniors
