With the support of thousands of volunteers and donors, we had an incredibly impactful year filled with numerous activities dedicated to uplifting and empowering our community.
Highlighting these efforts, 323 youth volunteers were honored with the President's Volunteer Service Awards, a testament to their unwavering dedication and inspiring spirit of volunteerism.

VT Seva Dallas Adopt-A-Street at Irving and Lewisville

VT Seva Dallas conducted two Adopt-A-Street activities this Saturday at Lewisville and Irving, with great participation from youth and adult volunteers. We would like to first and foremost thank Ashwin and Parth for leading the Lewisville cleanup today. We would also like to thank Srija, our Iriving youth lead, for being able to motivate her peers at Coppell High School to join in and help keep the streets clean. These initiatives will be held on a monthly basis, so keep an eye out for updates posted on the webpage and on Instagram if you would like to participate in an upcoming one.

VT Seva Maryland Campaigning - Diwali Event

VT Seva Maryland Team recently got an opportunity to showcase effectiveness of Volunteer Services at a Diwali function conducted by CB Events. CB Events supported us by providing us with a booth station and all our volunteers used the opportunity to demonstrate the great Services done by VT Seva. In the function, CB Events gave a shout out for VT Seva volunteers and helped us in educating the huge crowd about different pillars of VT Seva and how VT Seva creates an impact to the community. Our Youth leaders presented different events and activities that we had completed through VT Seva. So many impressed audiences and good hearts from CB Events signed up for VT Seva Volunteering services. Following Youth leads participated in the event! Vivek Konduri - Event Lead. Mahati, Yashmita, Rashmika, Bhavya, Mahesh, Taara Vasudevan, Dilli Babu, Vasudevan Akkoor, Sobana Vasudevan - Participated in the event and helped with Volunteering/Campaigning. Sana Shenoy - Helped with creating a re-usable donation Box. We would like to thank CB Events for providing us this opportunity.

Human Services - Sandwich Making

For the month of June youth volunteers from VT - Seva Bay Area came together and made 50 sandwiches for homeless shelters. There were 25 Peanut Butter and Jelly and 25 veggie burgers that youth volunteers put together. These were served alongside some fruit and snacks, packaged together by our volunteers and served as a wholesome meal for those in need!

Bollywood Dance Fitness

The Bombay Jam Event. This was a Bollywood dance fitness event conducted by the North Jersey VT Seva team. It was run by Instructor Harini Potluri. We also had a celebrity guest, Bigg Boss Sohel. Through this fundraiser, we raised around $1000 dollars to help the visually challenged kids in India.

VTS Det YB Macrame Keychain Workshop

VTS Detroit Youth Board conducted their first Macrame keychain🗝️ making workshop Veena ji, an expert who loves to make many things using Macrame, conducted this beginner's workshop. Novice volunteers learned this technique in a short period of time and made 42 keychains with 3 different patterns. These keychains will be displayed on India Day and used as a promotion material.

VT Seva- Lunches of Love

On June 7, volunteers from VT Seva Houston dedicated their time to support Lunches of Love, an organization committed to providing nutritious lunches to underprivileged children. Our volunteers helped at the Lunches of Love's Sugar Land location from 9:00 to 11:00 am. From 9:00 to 10:00 am, our volunteers used their creativity to decorate lunch bags with drawings, colors, and uplifting messages aimed at adding a personal and cheerful touch to each meal. From 10:00 to 11:00 am, volunteers assisted in packing snacks into individual portions, so they would be ready to be included in each lunch being handed out that afternoon. Volunteers were able to decorate around 50 bags, and packed more than 100 portions of snacks. We extend our gratitude to Lunches of Love for providing this volunteer opportunity and to all our volunteers for their enthusiastic participation and hard work.

CPR Workshop April 29th 2024 VT Seva Atlanta organized a CPR workshop on April 29, 2024 at Sharon Library. It was a successful event with more than 50 youths and adults 35 learned how to do good quality CPR, dos and don’ts of CPR, and how to get CPR Certified from Dr. Jawahar Gazzala, Atlanta Heart Specialist and Cardiologist. Having a mindset to save somebody’s life requires knowing what to do, when to do, and confidently taking action at the time of need. The enthusiastic participation of the youths and adults highlighted their willingness to learn life-saving skills that is much needed in modern world. We raised $1000 for the education of blind / visually challenged students of Nethra Vidyalaya. It’s a great hands-on learning experience for all!

Environmental-Services - Milpitas Park Cleanup Activity

For the month of May, youth volunteers met at a local Milpitas park to do their park cleanup. There are many kids playing at the park and our youth volunteers make sure it is always safe and clean for them to do so!
