With the support of thousands of volunteers and donors, we had an incredibly impactful year filled with numerous activities dedicated to uplifting and empowering our community.
Highlighting these efforts, 323 youth volunteers were honored with the President's Volunteer Service Awards, a testament to their unwavering dedication and inspiring spirit of volunteerism.

Austin VTSeva conducts volunteer service at round ti Obul area service center where our volunteers sort the food cans after unloaded from the trucks . Ty hey make them ready for the homeless to put Cv k f try on the shelves. This activity is held every second Saturday of the month.

Our Youth Board members and parents continue visiting the Manoogian Manor Seniors during their monthly bonfire. The seniors were so happy to see our group again! Our volunteers served lemonade, sweet tea and cookies. They had good time talking with the seniors and entertained them by singing song and playing music instruments.

Speech And Debate Camp

VT Seva Charlotte, Dallas and San Antonio came together yet again this year to conduct Speech And Debate Camp to upper elementary and middle school students. The camp raised funds enough for one year education sponsorship for four students at Nethravidyalaya in India. Kudos to the youth, mainly from Charlotte, who conceptualized, planned and implemented the idea successfully.

🍁 A Thanksgiving Gratitude 🍁 Atlanta VT Seva youth are collecting unused winter clothes for the patients of American Kidney Services. All donations will go to the kidney patients in Georgia and Nationwide. American Kidney Services (AKS) strives to help kidney disease sufferers who are in financial need. AKS, in conjunction with American Kidney Fund, will take your clothes and turn them into direct monetary support for patients struggling to pay bills due to high cost in medical care and dialysis.

VTSEVA Youth volunteers cleaned local streets and parks of trash or litter, working to keep our cities clean! Before Covid, volunteers used to go together and adopt a street. Now guidelines have changed to minimize the spread of COVID-19. It is now an individual activity. Each member provides a date and time they plan to do the activity. Then after they finish their trash picking they collect the following information. Time, date, location of the activity, how much distance they covered and names of the streets/how much trash was collected

Adopt-a-road event in Seattle

As part of our commitment to local communities, VTSEVA Seattle youth participated in an adopt-a-road event in Sammamish. We cleaned the roads and picked up recyclable items and trash as part of this effort.

International Yoga Day Events - Houston

Inaugurated in 2014, International Yoga Day is a celebration of the benefits of Yoga for the Mind & Body. This year's theme was: Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The World is One Family - One Earth, One Family, One Future June 21, 2023 - VT Seva Team Members participated in the International Yoga Day Event with the Consulate General of India and Discovery Green. A great experience for all! June 24, 2023 - The Office of Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers and Telfair conducted an International Yoga Day Event. The VT Seva Team volunteered & participated in the event - a beautifully conducted program for the benefit of all!

VT Seva Atlanta 1st Alumni Meet is organized on May 19, 2024 by youth leaders to bridge the gaps between Middle School, High School, and College students and build meaningful relationships. All 11 VT Seva youth club members presented their inspirational stories, activities, challenges, and how they overcome their challenges, and converted threats to opportunities. College students shared their college selection process, experiences and how they balance studies, co-curricular activities and pursue their dreams. VT Seva Atlanta 1st Alumni Meet was a big success in terms of breaking barriers between Middle, Highschool, and College students. It’s a very inspiring event and many youth came forward to start a youth club in their schools and bring a positive impact on the community!

VT Seva Volunteers at Books Between Kids

On April 15, VT Seva Houston volunteers sorted about 3000 books and packed over 600 plus books for distribution at Books Between Kids. Many thanks to our youth volunteers for their enthusiastic participation! Books Between Kids believes every child deserves to be a book owner. They depend on the generosity of Houston to provide new and gently used books to children in their year round programs. This year, they will have visited 56 HISD elementary schools, distributing more than 300,000 books in the Houston area.

VT Seva Detroit Youth Led Destined For Greatness Volunteering

The volunteers assisted Destined for Greatness in preparing for their Easter event, where gifts are distributed, and an Easter basket-making session is held for underprivileged children aged 0-11. Destined for Greatness has positively impacted 15,000 girls and 90,000 families, and the VTSeva volunteers were proud to contribute to this cause. 15 VT Seva Detroit volunteers (Youth and Adults) volunteered at the Destined For Greatness Ford Welness center in Michigan and helped them transport, open, and organize materials needed for their event
