VT seva club at Centennial school made greeting cards today for cancer patients prepping for our walkathon this weekend. Kudos to our youth club leads Akekhya, Ananya and Shria L for running the activity successfully 👏👏

On October 15, 2023, there was a half marathon and 5k run, called the Bull City Race Fest, in Cary and Durham. At the event, our volunteers played a crucial role by managing the water station and providing runners with much-needed hydration. With the backing of Duke Cancer Institute, the Bull City Race Fest remains dedicated to the fight against cancer, and our volunteers played an integral part in making this event a success. Their commitment and hard work demonstrated their unwavering support for the cause.

On October 15th 2023, Alliance Academy VT Seva youths serviced their community by participating in a Trunk or Treat! They were able to interact with young children and have fun with their community. At the October Chapter meeting, youths made meaningful connections with one another by playing Halloween games and learned about the core values of VT Seva.

Over the past year, our volunteers have made countless trips to Durham Rescue Mission Women’s Center to help make a difference in our community. During this trip on October 15, 2023, our volunteers packed lunches for homeless individuals in Durham & Wake County. Their efforts in preparing, placing, and packing these meals were valuable in providing for those in need. Volunteers also took part in washing, drying, organizing, and cleaning up.

VT Seva Detroit volunteers 1st volunteering event at Motown Soup. We thank A Time to Help Say Detroit for collabrating with VT Seva in this wonderful oppourtunity at Motown Soup. Our volunteers did a fantastic job in packing more than 1000 soup and dry mixes and finally cleaned up the work areas. packed soup and other dry mixes. These products truly makes a difference in the lives of the hungry , homeless and hurting throughout Michigan. We are looking forward for more such opportunities.

As part of October giving campaign, Seattle VTSEVA volunteers conducted a volleyball tournament for Microsoft employees. There were 12 teams who participated over a period of 4 weeks and we raised $5500 towards education pillar of VTSEVA.

On October 8th, our enthusiastic volunteers joined the 2023 Triangle Heart Walk at PNC Arena, Raleigh, to cheer on the runners. As part of the kids station, our volunteers took many roles in making this a fun experience for children. Volunteers led fun and games such as American Heart Association Twister, a large coloring poster, and a temporary tattoo station. The support and energy provided by our volunteers were a source of encouragement and excitement for all participants. VT Seva was able to create a positive atmosphere for everyone involved and give back to the community.

We dropped off the books that was collected as part of the holiday book donation drive last year. Children’s advocacy center graciously accepted the books and told us that it will be used to be distributed amongst various other groups that help children in need. Thank you Soham, Rasagna and their parents for the help with dropping off the books. Thanks everyone who worked on this project.🙏

VT Seva Dallas is always on the lookout for opportunities to serve the local community as well and these pictures are from a volunteering event at Envision Dallas yesterday. This is a rehabilitation center for the blind and visually challenged people. Volunteers worked with the blind people to help them with clay sculpting and preparing objects like mug, house, animals etc. Organized the items required for the art work and worked with blind members to finish the sculptures. After work, cleaning up the tables and the vicinity. VT Seva- Houston volunteers spent an inspired and celebratory morning at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 💝 With 10,000 participants and perfect weather, our volunteers provided water and cheered for the participants who crossed the finish line. The program began with wonderful words from Houston news anchor Melissa Wilson, Melissa Chase of radio station 96.5, and presenting sponsor Kroger. The best part was the camaraderie and energy in the air, working alongside a local service organization and Kroger team members! With an early start, we also got to experience a downtown sunrise ☀️Kudos to our youth volunteers for their hard work and enthusiasm in serving for such a great cause!
