On February 1, 15 amazing VTSeva volunteers came together to create “Forget Me Not” flowers in honor of Disabled American Veterans. With every flower folded and every stem assembled, our youth volunteers poured in gratitude, respect, and love for the veterans who have given so much in service to our country. Moments like these remind us that small acts—when done together—can carry deep meaning. Thank you to our volunteers for showing compassion through action and helping us remember those who should never be forgotten.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who made this year’s first Lunches with Love event at Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) such a success! 🙏🏽 30 brown bags were packed and dropped at Dell's Children hospital. Special shout-out to our adult volunteers who jumped in early, kept the lunch packing going, and supported the team while our youth volunteers were arriving—your dedication truly made a difference. It was heartwarming to see VTSeva volunteers of all ages come together to serve families with love, compassion, and teamwork. 💕 We’re grateful for your time, energy, and spirit of service!

One of the highlights was seeing our youngest volunteer (9 years old!) learn about what the RR Service Center does and how VTSeva supports the center and the surrounding community. On November 9, VTSeva Austin, in collaboration with Lotus Capital Holdings, organized a Finance, Wills & Trusts session for our volunteers. The session offered practical guidance on financial planning, wealth management, and estate planning, helping participants take informed steps toward securing their financial future. Volunteers learned valuable tips on budgeting, investment strategies, and legacy planning, reflecting VTSeva’s commitment to empowering our community with knowledge and life skills.

VTSeva volunteers help sort, organize, and restock food items at the Round Rock Area Service Center pantry. This activity ensures that essential groceries reach families, the homeless, and underprivileged community members efficiently and with care.

On November 2, VTSeva Austin organized a community health session on kidney care, featuring Dr. Sarika Deshmukh and Dr. Kul. The session highlighted the importance of early detection, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices for maintaining kidney health. Attendees gained valuable insights on risk factors, screenings, and practical steps to protect their kidneys, aligning with VTSeva’s mission to empower communities through health education.

“Beats for a Cause” is a VTSeva fundraising event led by youth volunteers, bringing together a diverse cultural community through music and performance. The event raises sponsorships to support the education of visually challenged students, empowering them with opportunities for academics, sports, and holistic development.

Your kindness and contributions made a significant impact! A special thank you to Brianna, a dedicated teacher at LISD, for opening her home to collect all the donations. She has been instrumental in sorting supplies for our elementary, middle, and high school students in collaboration with the school district. We also want to acknowledge our wonderful adult volunteer, Komal ji, for her outstanding coordination between the school districts and VTseva. Your efforts have been invaluable!
