With the support of thousands of volunteers and donors, we had an incredibly impactful year filled with numerous activities dedicated to uplifting and empowering our community.
Highlighting these efforts, 323 youth volunteers were honored with the President's Volunteer Service Awards, a testament to their unwavering dedication and inspiring spirit of volunteerism.

Plarn making for plastic mats

On May 30th, VTSeva Chicago volunteers came together to reuse plastic bags into yarn for an organization called The Gratitude Generation. Using the yarn, they will make mats and donate them to the homeless shelter. Overall VTSeva volunteers made 8 balls of plastic yarn. Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated.
Sort & pack at Northern Illinois Food Bank

On May 9th, 10 volunteers from Vtseva Chicago participated in a sorting/packing activity at Northern Illinois Food Bank. Volunteers spent their summer morning with packing 2000 pounds of green apples. We had couple new volunteers as well, who enjoyed the volunteering session and planned to be in future activities.

Thank you to the VTSeva volunteers who spent their Friday evening on April 24 at the SRALC Groovefest. Helping out with decorations and setting up along with taking pictures and helping with cleaning up in the end, your efforts made a meaningful difference. Attendees had a good time dancing and participating in other activities. Thank you for those that volunteered with us

The incredible women of VT Seva Maryland decided to celebrate Mother’s Day by giving back to the community they love and nurture every day! 🌿 Service in Action: Adopt-A-Road Cleanup 🌿 Led by Mrs. Deepa Parida, our dedicated volunteers spent Sunday morning clearing litter and debris to keep our community clean, safe, and green. A huge thank you to Branch Director Sobana Ji, Prasamsha Ji, Arti Ji, and Sandhya Ji for your hard work and leadership! ✨ Deepa Ji shares: "I had the privilege of leading this Adopt-A-Road initiative alongside such dedicated volunteers. Working together reinforced how powerful service can be — through teamwork and environmental stewardship, we make a real difference in our neighborhoods." Annual Walkathon for Free Cancer Screening

On Sunday May 31st, more than 30 youth and adult volunteers gathered at Thompson Park in Monroe to participate in our charity Walkathon. All proceeds raised from today’s event will go directly toward funding free cancer screening camps for women in rural India. Event Highlights: Location: Thompson Park, Monroe Turnout: 30+ dedicated youth and adult volunteers Cause: Supporting healthcare and early cancer detection for women in rural India Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate, walk, and support this vital health initiative. VT Seva Houston volunteers at Houston Council of Blind

On Saturday May 16th, VT Seva Houston volunteered at the Houston Council of the Blind. It was a memorable experience interacting with the HCB community! Our volunteers assisted during their monthly meeting by passing fruits, muffins, coffee, and water to the members. VT Seva Houston looks forward to volunteering with HCB again in June! Supporting the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen

On Saturday May 23rd, 2026 our VT Seva volunteers spent the day serving at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). The team worked together to pack three trays of bread and assisted in serving meals to approximately 100 individuals. Following the meal service, volunteers stayed to clean and sanitize the dining area tables and chairs.

14 dedicated VT Seva NJ volunteers (10 youth and 4 adults) gathered at the Robbinsville Library to support neighbors facing food insecurity. This powerhouse team assembled 230+ PB&J sandwiches and prepared 600+ utensil packs! 🥪🍴 A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers for proving how much positive change we can achieve when we work together.
