On July 25th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted with the Brown Bag Ministry, helping prepare meals for members of the local community. Our 6 youth volunteers worked together to pack lunches and snack packs, completing their assigned tasks efficiently before helping other groups with meal preparation. Through their teamwork and dedication, volunteers packed approximately 260 meals and snack packs for individuals in need. This event gave volunteers a meaningful opportunity to serve the community while making a direct impact by helping provide meals to those facing food insecurity.

On July 25th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted at the Durham Rescue Mission Men’s Campus by helping organize and count school supplies and toys for community members in need. Our 6 youth volunteers and 2 adult volunteers worked together efficiently, staying on task throughout the event and completing their assignments ahead of schedule. Through their teamwork and dedication, the volunteers helped prepare important supplies for distribution, making a positive impact on families in the community while supporting the Durham Rescue Mission's ongoing efforts.

On July 18th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted with the Brown Bag Ministry, helping prepare meals for members of the local community. Our 8 youth volunteers worked together to package food efficiently, staying focused and on task throughout the event. Through their teamwork and dedication, the volunteers packed 200 bags of food to help support individuals and families in need. This event was a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community while making a positive impact through service.

On July 18th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted at the Durham Rescue Mission Men’s Campus helping support individuals in need through meal service and other assigned tasks. Our 9 youth volunteers and 1 adult volunteer worked together to ensure the event ran smoothly, serving guests with kindness and respect while assisting staff wherever needed. Throughout the event, volunteers remained engaged and contributed to creating a welcoming environment for members of the community. The experience provided a meaningful opportunity to give back and support those facing difficult circumstances.

🏐 VT Seva Cary Volleyball Tournament – Serving Beyond the Court! 💙 On July 11th, 2026, VT Seva Cary successfully hosted its Volleyball Tournament with the amazing support of 20 dedicated youth volunteers and more than 10 adult volunteers. Our youth volunteers took an active role throughout the tournament—from setup and cleanup, registration and scorekeeping to updating scores on the monitor and supporting the main desk. They worked together with enthusiasm, responsibility, and great team spirit, stepping in wherever help was needed to keep the tournament running smoothly. 👏 🌟 Youth Leadership Creating an Impact This meaningful initiative was led by our youth volunteer Sarayu Ramanujam, with the support of Bharat Nekkalapudi and our wonderful team of adult volunteers. We are especially proud that, for the second year, this event is supporting VT Seva’s Feeding Hope mission—an initiative that gives families an opportunity to celebrate their birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions in a meaningful way by sponsoring meals for visually challenged students. ❤️ 🍽️ This year, our community has already come forward to sponsor 12 days of meals! What started on the volleyball court has created an impact far beyond the game. It is inspiring to see our youth take the lead, adults support and mentor them, and our community come together for a meaningful cause. A heartfelt thank you to all our youth volunteers, adult volunteers, sponsors, players, families, and supporters who made this possible. 🙏 Together, we are not only celebrating a successful tournament—we are turning celebrations into service and service into hope. 💙

On July 3rd, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted at the Apex Firework Frenzy, helping keep the event clean and environmentally friendly. Our 13 youth volunteers and 1 adult volunteer began by reviewing instructions and receiving safety vests and grabber tools before being assigned to their areas. Throughout the event, volunteers helped attendees sort trash and recycling, encouraging proper waste disposal while taking turns on breaks. At the end of the event, volunteers returned their equipment and wrapped up after a successful evening of service. Through their teamwork and dedication, our volunteers helped reduce waste and keep the event clean, making a positive impact on both the community and the environment.

On June 26th, VT Seva Houston had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer and participate in the International Day of Yoga celebration hosted by Fort Bend County. We truly enjoyed being part of this meaningful event and celebrating the spirit of yoga, wellness, and community.
