VT Seva Cary’s Men’s Volleyball Fundraiser: Serving Hope with Every Match! 💙✨ On September 27, 2025, VT Seva Cary hosted a vibrant Men’s Volleyball Tournament to support our Feeding Hope initiative—providing nutritious meals to visually challenged children in India. Despite the weather, 15 enthusiastic teams came together to celebrate 15 Days of Feeding Hope through service, teamwork, and compassion. 🙌 Behind the Scenes Heroes A heartfelt thank you to the 12 youth and 10 adult volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the event ran smoothly. Our team—including both youth and adult volunteers—rolled up their sleeves and jumped into a variety of hands-on tasks: painting, caulking, insulating panels, assembling interiors, prepping materials, and more. It was a meaningful opportunity to learn practical life skills while contributing to a cause that directly impacts our community. Beyond the work itself, we also learned about the purpose of the Tiny Home Villages—how they offer not only safe, warm shelter but also stability, dignity, and a supportive community to help residents get back on their feet. Hearing our youth share their reflections afterward was truly inspiring; the experience deepened their understanding of homelessness and the power of service. This build was especially meaningful because the VT Seva team raised funds over the summer—through our Unity Cricket Cup and Walkathon—to sponsor tiny homes. It was wonderful for our volunteers to see these contributions turn into real, tangible impact. On Saturday, November 1st, VT Seva Houston youth and adult volunteers supported The Arc of Katy, an organization serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. Volunteers helped refresh and reorganize various areas, including cleaning storage spaces and removing weeds to prepare the garden for fall planting. They also enjoyed assisting with the vegetable patches. It was a meaningful and rewarding experience for all. On Saturday, November 8th, our VT Seva Houston volunteers had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the Houston Food. We deeply thank all our volunteers who volunteered for this opportunity. Together, we helped pack 5,834 meals, filling 7 pallets, and handling over 7,000 pounds of fresh fruit. It was wonderful to see how much we can accomplish when we come together as a team.
