Meals by Grace

Atlanta VT Seva youths participated in the Meals By Grace event on November 30, 2024 in which they sorted, packed, loaded food items for the needy families of North Georgia. During Holiday season(month of December)these families are in desperate need of food items to take care of their children. We are very happy to help the needy families Georgia so children can go to bed Happy not Hungry. It’s a great gratifying experience for us 🙏

Mental Health and Obesity Workshop

Participants gained valuable insights into managing stress, preventing anxiety and depression, and adopting healthier lifestyle habits. The interactive discussion emphasized that prioritizing mental health and addressing obesity are key steps toward a balanced and fulfilling life. The workshop provided practical takeaways for attendees, inspiring them to embrace self-care and continue making a positive impact within their communities. Today Atlanta VT Seva youths made cheerful holiday cards for the seniors of Assisted living 🎄🤶 🎄By making cards with thoughtful messages filled with inspirational qotes and cheerful holiday🔔🧑🎄 wishes, our youths have showed how much they respect and care about our seniors, aiming to combat their loneliness, and cheer them up during holiday time ⛄🌟🎄

Many members from the Northview school club in Atlanta came together to set up lights and festive decorations for the winter holidays for a neighborhood. They partnered with the HOA of the neighborhood to allow them to set up the lights. Overall, they all had a good time setting up decoration for the upcoming holidays.

VTSeva Campaign at Local Event On September 14, 2024, the VT Seva Maryland team had the honor of volunteering at the Ganesha Visarjan celebration hosted by CB Events. We were thrilled to be part of this special occasion, where we sang devotional songs, helped set up the event space, and supported the procession. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with the community, contribute our time, and be a part of such a meaningful celebration. Throughout the event, we worked closely with CB Events, assisting with the setup and ensuring everything was in place. We also supported the attendees during the procession, adding a spiritual touch by singing devotional songs, which created a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. Our team worked together to ensure the procession went smoothly, making sure everyone was safe and able to fully enjoy the celebration. This experience taught us valuable lessons about passion, perseverance, and teamwork. Our passion for service was clear in everything we did—it inspired us to give our best and make a meaningful difference. Perseverance was key as we faced challenges throughout the day, but we stayed focused and committed, determined to support the event until the very end. T eamwork was the foundation of our success. Every volunteer played an important role, whether it was setting up, singing, or assisting attendees. We worked together with a shared purpose, supporting each other every step of the way. The strength of our teamwork was evident as we accomplished our goals and contributed to the event’s success. We are incredibly grateful to CB Events for providing us with the opportunity to be part of this important celebration. It was truly an honor to contribute to such a meaningful event. VTSeva Campaign at Local Event On Sunday, October 27, 2024, the VT Seva Maryland team participated in the Diwali celebration, hosted by CB events, by setting up a stall to promote our cause and engage with the community. This event provided an excellent opportunity for us to raise awareness about the impactful work of VT Seva, while also connecting with attendees on a personal level. Throughout the event, we communicated with numerous individuals, regarding the powerful initiatives VTSeva supports, such as educational programs, healthcare camps, and disaster relief/environmental efforts. These interactions were incredibly significant and valuable in conveying our mission and the overall representation of our work. The success of this specific event was a testament to the strength of our team. Every member worked together seamlessly, highlighting the commitment to our cause. It was clear that the collaboration and dedication of our leaders and volunteers played a crucial role in making this event successful. This specific event was a valuable learning experience for our team, teaching us the priceless lessons of leadership and hard work. - Leadership, in this context, meant not just overseeing the event but inspiring and motivating the team, guiding each individual toward the common goal of spreading awareness and making an impact. - Hard work was evident in every aspect: setting up the stall, answering questions, engaging with the public, and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The dedication of each volunteer was clear, and the event reinforced how much can be achieved when everyone works together towards a shared mission. VT Seva Detroit successfully celebrated the 9th Annual Cultural Event RAAS-2024 on November 16th, 2024. RAAS is our Annual Celebration event, culminating a great year of various fundraising activities and volunteering services to the community. A memorable evening with marvelous Entertainment & Sumptuous Dinner Some of the key highlights of the event: • 450+ people attended. • Sumptuous Dinner with Mesmerizing Entertainment • Game night and Electrifying Open-floor Dance to engage the audience. • Special Thanks to all the Donors, Volunteers, Participants, Sponsors, Choreographers, and everyone for bringing great success to VTSEVA Detroit.

Come rain, shine, or cold weather, our dedicated VT Seva volunteers tirelessly stood outside various grocery stores, passionately promoting RAAS 2024 and spreading awareness about VT Seva’s impactful causes. Over several weeks, they organized promotional efforts at locations like Vani Foods Grocery, India Grocers, Canton Temple, and Troy Indian Groceries. During these events, they also encouraged kind donations, both in cash and online, to support their mission. Their hard work and commitment paid off, raising an impressive amount to fund the education of 𝟰 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.

VTSeva Detroit YB 2024 EYE GLASS DRIVE

VTSEVA Detroit Youth Board, in just a month, with the help of our own youth volunteers, their friends and family, and Cosmic Toads and Atomic Toads Robotics teams from Novi, collected 168 pairs of gently used eyeglasses to donate them to those in need in Sri Lanka.

On September 5, our volunteers had the unique opportunity to undergo a Basic Life Support and CPR Training session hosted by the Novi Fire Department and conducted through the support of the American Heart Association. This hands-on experience involved practice with mannequins, allowing volunteers to master techniques like chest compressions and valve mask breath support—key components of resuscitation when someone collapses due to a medical emergency like cardiac arrest or choking. After the training, volunteers went through a 1:1 test, where if they passed, they received a 2 year certification from the American Heart Association.

VTSeva Detroit Founder’s Day and Back to School Giveaway

This wonderful event was spearheaded by Ms. Shadora Ford in honor of Founder’s Day. VT Seva distributed cloth bags which were part of our Say No to Plastics awareness campaign. These beautiful bags were painted with inspiring messages by over 20 volunteers. Volunteers also helped set up for this event, and they gave away gently used clothing, books, and toys. VT Seva is honored to be part of such noble efforts and looks forward to many more events in the future.
