During this event, VT Seva’s volunteering team worked together to transport, unpack, and set up materials for the Founder’s Day and Back to School Giveaway event. These events will provide essential supplies to underprivileged families. Through their efforts, volunteers helped over 300 families.

VT Seva volunteers worked together at Forgotten Harvest facilities to pack 9744 lb of food. This food is delivered to food pantries and other similar organizations to be distributed out to families. Each pound helps feed a family, meaning our volunteers left a huge impact in helping their local community fight food insecurity.

VT Seva and Sewa Detroit’s collaboration for this green initiative was a definite success, leaving volunteers feeling inspired to make a change. Our volunteers helped promote reusable cloth bags instead of one time use plastic bags through painting cloth bags. This was a great project that helped promote small things we can do to save our planet.

All year long, VT Seva Seattle youth have been volunteering biweekly at the senior center, filling the halls with the beautiful sounds of piano, Mridangam, guitar, and other instruments. Their performances bring joy, connection, and a lively atmosphere to the seniors, creating moments of happiness and shared appreciation for music. Thank you to our youth volunteers for their dedication and talent in making these events so special!

Thank you so much to all of the awesome volunteers that worked together to collectively make over 50 cards for kids in children’s hospitals! We had a great time finding inspirational quotes, writing, coloring and drawing meaningful pictures on the cards to brighten up people’s days! Thank you again to all of the volunteers! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us at the farmers market. Overall we raised $161 for Nethavidyalaya and local food pantries. More than the money we raised, we spread a lot more awareness about VTSeva. We had great time fundraising for this great cause thanks to Ishani Gupta, Mrigank Singh, Tanmai Chadalawada, Devan Acharya, Veda Sivakumar, Ananya Challuri, Charvik Gunda, Lohitakshan Gopinath, Sruthi Ranga, Sahithi Ranga and a few adult volunteers who helped us at the booth.

VT Seva Chicago volunteers participated in a rewarding volunteering session at Bernie's Book Bank. Today, we were fortunate to welcome a few new volunteers to our team, enhancing our collective effort. Working collaboratively, we successfully processed thousands of books. The books we prepared will undoubtedly spark a love for reading and learning among children who may not have had access to such resources before. *Thank you everyone who contributed their time and effort to this session*
