VT Seva volunteers participated in this monthly service organized by HTSA on 13th Sep 2025 by preparing sandwiches for Vinny's Bistro. Our branch volunteers on second Saturday every month and also sponsors for the needed sandwich supplies and fruit for over 250 homeless people. Our sincere gratitude to all the following families for their sponsorship so far this year in helping HTSA continue this noble initiative - Drs. On September 13th, we held the dry run for our upcoming Subha Annual Event — and it was nothing short of inspiring! Our team successfully folded 1,600 blankets and matched/sorted 96 blankets to be delivered to children in need. These cozy blankets will soon bring warmth and smiles to kids across Michigan at hospitals, including: Corewell Health DeVos Children’s Hospital (Grand Rapids) Hurley Children’s Hospital (Flint) Mott Children’s Hospital (Ann Arbor)…and more! We are deeply grateful to Fleece & Thank You for giving us this opportunity to serve. 🙏

NFHS VTS club members teamed up with Fleece & Thank You to package and tie blankets for children in hospitals, as well as label scissors for their upcoming “Make A Blanket” event! Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we tied over 40 blankets and packaged more than 225 blankets, all heading to over 20 children’s hospitals. On top of that, we labeled 2,000+ scissors for next weekend’s big event!

VT Seva Cary Volunteers Serve with Heart at Durham Rescue Mission On September 13 2025, VT Seva Cary continued its commitment to community service with two impactful volunteering sessions at the Durham Rescue Mission – Men’s Campus. A team of 10 youth and 2 adult volunteers came together to serve meals and offer support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Durham Rescue Mission, North Carolina’s oldest and largest non-profit homeless shelter, has long been a partner in our service journey. Over the years, this has become one of VT Seva Cary’s core volunteering events, and we are honored to be consistently invited back to contribute. This time was especially meaningful, as our volunteers helped with one of the mission’s most essential services—serving hot meals to the men who find shelter and hope at the Rescue Mission. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make right here in our own communities. We are proud to stand alongside Durham Rescue Mission in their mission to uplift lives, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the months ahead.

NFHS VTS held its first club meeting of the year! Members learned more about our mission and upcoming service events while getting to know each other through fun introductions and team discussions. We also encouraged everyone to brainstorm and share new event ideas to make this year’s projects even more meaningful and creative. We can’t wait to bring these ideas to life and make an even greater impact together!

On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, a group of volunteers came together at the Northern Illinois Food Bank to pack cereal boxes. Thanks to their teamwork and generosity, we were able to support more than 12,000 individuals in need! We are so grateful for everyone who joined us to make a difference. Your time and effort truly helped bring hope  to our community.

Big thanks to our VT Seva volunteers who volunteered to the Houston Food Bank on September 6th, 2025! Together we packed 9,626 oranges, filled 11 pallets, and moved over 11,000 pounds of fresh fruit in just one day—what an awesome team effort!

VT Seva MN hosted a 41-day Pranayama Meditation program for 8+ participants, guiding participants through daily breathing exercises to promote mindfulness, relaxation, and overall well-being.

We sorted packaged 5000 pounds of frozen baked food items that will be donated to families in need, supporting the fight against hunger in our own community! We all worked hard in packaging food to be sent out to over 140 partner institutions, such as food pantries, schools & and local community churches and groups, as well as maintaining a clean sorting environment.
