On November 21st, VT SEVA South Forsyth High School hosted our community fundraising event, Cone Up for a Cause, at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice on Peachtree Parkway. From 3 PM to 9 PM, students, families, and community members stopped by throughout the afternoon and evening to enjoy Italian ice, gelatis, and soft-serve while supporting a meaningful mission. At the counter, guests used the code VTSEVA, allowing 20% of each purchase to go directly toward our initiative. Our goal for this event was to raise awareness about the fight against drug abuse while also generating funds to support the impactful work being done at Emory Rehabilitation Hospital. Although the event maintained a calm and steady flow of visitors, each contribution counted, and every purchase — big or small — helped push our mission forward. The atmosphere was warm and encouraging, with volunteers greeting guests, sharing information, and fostering a sense of community involvement. The funds we raised will be donated to Emory Rehabilitation Hospital, where they will help support patient rehabilitation, treatment access, and ongoing recovery support services. 🌟VTS ATL South Forsyth High School Drug Awareness Drive 🌟 We are thrilled to celebrate the successful wrapping up of the VT Seva Drug Awareness campaign! Drug Awareness Week is a student-led initiative designed to educate our school community about the dangers of drug misuse while promoting healthy, positive choices. The week will include themed dress-up days, a community fundraiser, social media outreach, and a reflective writing component. Our goal is to unify students around awareness, prevention, and wellness.💫✴️💫 The hard work and countless hours dedicated by the planning and execution teams resulted in a professional and impactful five-day initiative. Our team—including both youth and adult volunteers—rolled up their sleeves and jumped into a variety of hands-on tasks: painting, caulking, insulating panels, assembling interiors, prepping materials, and more. It was a meaningful opportunity to learn practical life skills while contributing to a cause that directly impacts our community. Beyond the work itself, we also learned about the purpose of the Tiny Home Villages—how they offer not only safe, warm shelter but also stability, dignity, and a supportive community to help residents get back on their feet. Hearing our youth share their reflections afterward was truly inspiring; the experience deepened their understanding of homelessness and the power of service. This build was especially meaningful because the VT Seva team raised funds over the summer—through our Unity Cricket Cup and Walkathon—to sponsor tiny homes. It was wonderful for our volunteers to see these contributions turn into real, tangible impact. As VT Seva Houston, we organized a community-wide candy drive in the weeks following Halloween, collecting unopened candy donations from local neighbourhoods. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to gather over 200 pounds of candy, transforming post-holiday treats into a meaningful act of service. All donated candy was delivered to Ronald McDonald House Charities, where it helped bring comfort and joy to children and families staying there during challenging times. This initiative reflects VT Seva Houston’s commitment to service, sustainability, and community support, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this drive a success.

Fifteen youth volunteers from VT Seva Cary participated in the Sadaya event. They helped with outreach and activities to spread awareness about Sadaya’s mission of supporting visually challenged students. Their dedication highlighted the power of youth service in promoting kindness, education, and community impact.

PVSA Celebration 2024 VT Seva Cary proudly hosted its annual Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Celebration, honoring 35 youth volunteers for their dedication throughout the year. The event was graced by Judge Keith as chief guest, who inspired the youth with his words on leadership and service. In addition to recognizing volunteer achievements, VT Seva Cary raised $1,000 during the ceremony to support the Feeding Hope initiative. These funds will provide meals to students at VT Seva’s three schools in India — Netra Vidyalaya, Netra Junior College, and Tribal Schools in Allampeta and Beersaipeta. The celebration not only honored the spirit of service but also extended its impact globally, ensuring that education and nourishment go hand in hand for children in need.

Seven youth and three adult volunteers from VT Seva Cary participated in a Sadaya outreach activity. They handed out flyers at a local grocery station, spreading awareness about Sadaya’s mission to support visually challenged students. Through their efforts, the volunteers helped engage the community and inspire kindness toward this important cause.

Thank you everyone for making our VTSeva Chicago bonding event On Nov 15th! We had so much fun with all of you , getting to know each other, playing all sorts of games and celebrating award ceremony for 2024 president awards and 2025 volunteers. We hope to do more of these in the future to enhance our community and create a stronger team! Together we can make a difference! VT Seva San Antonio volunteers participated in warehouse sorting at San Antonio Food Bank on Nov 15th, 2025. They helped pack food for the homeless.

VTSeva volunteers prepare and deliver “Lunches With Love” to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Each month, we pack 50 nutritious lunch bags to support families with children receiving medical care, offering comfort, care, and a little extra warmth during a difficult time.

RAAS 2025 – 10th Annual Celebration: A Grand Milestone RAAS 2025 marked our 10th Annual Celebration with 151 performers and six hours of nonstop entertainment—dances, singing, musical instruments, percussion, a show-stopper act, games, speeches and a vibrant glow-stick open dance floor. Guests enjoyed a rich food spread from fruit punch and snacks to appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Dignitaries from our beneficiary organizations, partner charities, the Southfield Deputy Police Chief, Novi Councilwoman, sponsors, and special guests graced the event. With 100+ volunteers and 300+ attendees, RAAS 2025 was a powerful display of collective kindness supporting visually challenged, underprivileged students and local community services. The VT Seva Detroit branch proudly celebrates the success of its Youth-Led Outreach Project 2025, which raised over $23,800 to support the education of 65+ visually challenged students at Nethra Vidyalaya. Renowned for its commitment to holistic education, Nethra Vidyalaya empowers students to grow academically, personally, and with confidence - and this project focused on ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive.
