On Apr 13, 2025, VT Seva Detroit volunteers came together for our Spring Adopt-A-Road event, working hand in hand to keep our community cleaner and greener. With great energy and teamwork, our youth and adult volunteers cleared litter, beautified the surroundings, and showed what service through action truly means.

On April 13, 2025, VT Seva’s April Cool Plant Sale continued to bloom with even more energy and enthusiasm! Our incredible Atlanta youth volunteers came together once again to support environmental awareness and raise funds for a noble cause 🌎🌿🌸 ✨𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩—𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡—𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞. Throughout the day, they warmly welcomed community members, explained plant care tips, managed sales with professionalism, and displayed vibrant, handmade educational posters 🌼🪻🌱 💚𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚’𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙭. $10𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨! This weekend, VTSEVA volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on experience in San Jose, diving into an exciting RAFT activity! We helped sort, quality-check, and pack essential supplies for teachers—making sure everything was ready to support classrooms in need. It was a fun and fulfilling day of teamwork, service, and community impact!

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝: 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐠 𝐈𝐲𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: Together, we helped sort out over 4 large boxes of medical supplies and determine which ones are expired or are still usable. These will be used by people in need in many developing countries. We had the privilege to volunteer at the World Medical Relief, where we all sorted through medical equipment which will be sent to places in need of high quality medical equipment. The World Medical Relief is also a state of the art pacemaker facility, and they gave us an amazing tour of their facility, where they collect, sterilize, and repair pacemakers before they are then given to others who need them.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐦 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 - 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲!* 🌻🪷🌷 During the event, our youth volunteers stepped into leadership roles, taking charge of selling the plants while improving their communication and social skills. They also created and displayed handmade posters to help educate visitors on plant care, potting tips, and watering schedules 🍀🌼🎋 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙬𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 10𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨! On April 2nd and 9th, VTS members gathered after school to create “forget-me-not” flower crafts to honor and remember disabled American veterans! This small act of appreciation was a heartfelt way to show our respect and gratitude to those who served, and we’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful cause!!

On April 7, Troy High VTS Club members from Troy High School came together to honor Disabled American Veterans (DAV) by handcrafting small tribute flowers. Their effort was a gesture of appreciation for the brave service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.

This past weekend, more than seven of our dedicated core volunteers came together to prepare fresh meals at the Children’s Hospital. Their efforts served over 60 individuals, providing much-needed nourishment and heartfelt support.👏👏👏

On April 6th , 2025, a group of volunteers gathered to create heartfelt birthday cards for underprivileged children for Cake4Kids! Thank you to, Ananya, Kiva, Sahithi, Ashita and Tanmai for joining us for this opportunity. We were able to make 26 beautiful cards, each filled with positivity, and heartfelt messages!

VT Seva Cary – Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam (April 6, 2025) On April 6th, VT Seva Cary youth volunteers participated in the Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam at Bond Park. The team supported event logistics and helped ensure a smooth, organized, and celebratory experience for all attendees. By assisting with this cultural gathering, our volunteers strengthened VT Seva Cary’s connection with local traditions and community festivities, while also gaining valuable experience in teamwork and service. Their dedication contributed to the joy and success of the event, reflecting the spirit of unity and devotion that the Mahotsavam embodies
