VT Seva Cary Financial Literacy Camp
The camp will be held online from August 10–20 everyday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM ET (daily) , making it accessible from anywhere. Students will gain valuable knowledge about managing money, making smart financial decisions, and developing responsible spending and saving habits. The registration fee is $25 per student, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Nethra Vidyalaya schools to support education for visually challenged students.

VT Seva Seattle Coding Camp
Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your summer? Enroll your child in ROAD2CODE, a live virtual coding camp designed for students ages 10–14. Whether your child is new to programming or eager to build on their skills, this camp offers an engaging introduction to Java programming through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, and exciting challenges.

VT Seva Detroit 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament
VT Seva Detroit is organizing the 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Sep 20th, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM in SPARC, Novi, MI.
Proceeds from this tournament will go to schools in India for visually challenged children. VT Seva supports Schools for visually challenged students in India, such as Nethra Vidyalaya. These schools provide higher education to visually challenged students and enable them to be independent and compete with other students.

As part of the VT Seva Maryland Samatha Annual Day 2026 celebration on June 20, 2026, our Kids Fashion Show brought smiles, excitement, and confidence to the stage. Children from across Maryland showcased their creativity and individuality as they walked the runway with pride. Dressed in a vibrant mix of traditional Indian attire, formal wear, and imaginative costumes—including community heroes such as police officers—the participants captivated the audience with their confidence, enthusiasm, and unique personalities. Congratulations to all the participants for their wonderful performances and to the prize winners for their creativity and effort. Every child who stepped onto the runway demonstrated courage, self-expression, and confidence, making the event a memorable celebration of talent and diversity. Impact: The fashion show empowered children to build self-confidence, celebrate cultural diversity, express their creativity, and strengthen community bonds through a fun and inclusive experience. VT Seva San Antonio participated in HTSA's Sandwich Sewa benefitting Vinny's Bistro on July 11th, 2026. The branch's 18 volunteers prepared 300 peanut butter & jam sandwiches approximately. We appreciate Mrs. Chaitanya and Mr. Laxman Davuluri for sponsoring sandwiches and fruit to the homeless shelter in July on behalf of VT Seva.

DreamWall Grand Opening VT Seva Volunteers played a crucial role in preparing for the DreamWall Grand Opening Dreams on Display mural event at Artworks in Trenton, New Jersey, on July 11th, 2026. They assisted with various setup tasks, including building tents for designated activity spaces and organizing tables for themed stations. Volunteers also prepared activity stations, packaged and sorted food, and helped organize event resources. Their efforts ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees. A total of 10 youth and 4 adult volunteers participated. It was truly a memorable celebration! Seeing our community come together to celebrate Independence Day made this event incredibly special. This food pantry serves those in need, and they serve around 400 families every week with an average of 20,000 lb of food per week. During this service event, we helped with various tasks, including those below: * Organizing bananas into bags for easy distribution * Loading food delivery carts * Disposing of expired food * Cleanup after food distribution

The VT Seva Maryland - New Market team recently concluded its community plant sale, an environmental initiative that brought together local families to witness the beautiful journey of seeds growing into saplings. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, the event was a resounding success, raising a total of $120 for our branch's philanthropic goals. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful parents and Lake Linganore volunteers who made this event possible. To the parents, your constant encouragement provides the foundation we need to create meaningful environmental experiences for our youth. I also want to give a special shout-out to the Lake Linganore Woodridge community volunteer team for their dedicated assistance in planning and organizing the logistics from day one. As this was my very first time organizing an event, it has served as a major milestone that has given me the confidence to lead and inspire others. I am deeply grateful to Shobana Auntie for her mentorship, trust, and for providing me with this invaluable leadership platform. I also want to express my sincere appreciation to our adult leads - Sandhya Kakani, Prathibha Rani, and Prashamsa Muppavaram - for their unwavering guidance, support, and encouragement of our youth throughout the sale. Finally, this event ran seamlessly due to the dedication of our youth volunteer squad. Sincere thanks to Ethan Joseph, Isheetha Taritla, Ishaan Krishnan, Abhinav Taritla, Neil Joseph, and Reyansh T. Your collective time, energy, and enthusiasm made a lasting impact, and I am incredibly grateful to each of you for making this fundraiser a reality. VT Seva Houston volunteers at The Arc of Katy

On Saturday, June 13th, 2026, VT Seva Houston volunteers spent the day assisting The Arc of Katy. Volunteers assisted in cleaning the facility’s transportation buses by vacuuming the interiors, wiping down surfaces, and washing the exteriors. The team also weeded the pavilion area and the garden, helping keep the area neat and clean. This experience helped foster teamwork among our volunteers and a sense of community. VT Seva San Antonio took part in the monthly service activity, Sandwich Sewa, at Hindu Temple of San Antonio. The volunteers prepared sandwiches for the homeless people depending on Vinny's Bistro for their daily meals. Thank you to Mrs. Sukrutha and Dr. Govardhan Bobbala for their sponsorship in June on behalf of VT Seva and all the volunteers who helped in making approximately 300 sandwiches.
