𝐎𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐕𝐓 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐭 proudly conducted its 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 @forgottenharvest 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐢 From 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, our incredible team of 𝟏𝟏 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟓 𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 came together with one shared purpose — to serve and uplift our community. Despite the cold and wet conditions, our volunteers stood strong throughout the day, engaging with Kroger customers and inspiring generosity through their dedication and passion. We were especially honored by a visit from 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭’𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤, who stopped by to encourage our volunteers. His support meant a lot, particularly to our youth, boosting their morale as they braved the challenging weather conditions. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community & customers at Kroger, we collected: - 𝟐𝟓 𝐛𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 - 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟗𝟎𝟎 𝐥𝐛𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 - $𝟓𝟔𝟔 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Each item and every dollar will help support families in need through Forgotten Harvest. This was more than just a food drive — it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when compassion meets action. Watching our youth lead with such commitment and heart gives us great hope for the future.

VT Seva Chicago volunteers participated in a rewarding volunteering session at Bernie's Book Bank On Mar 21st 2026. Today, we were fortunate to welcome a few new volunteers to our team, enhancing our collective effort. Working collaboratively, we successfully processed thousands of books. The books we prepared will undoubtedly spark a love for reading and learning among children who may not have had access to such resources before. On March 21st, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted at the Diaper Bank of North Carolina, supporting efforts to provide essential supplies to families in need. Diapers can be a significant expense for many households, especially as they are used frequently. The collected and packed diapers will be distributed to single mothers and underprivileged widowed mothers, helping ease their financial burden and support the well-being of their babies. The volunteers demonstrated excellent teamwork by organizing an efficient assembly line system: some members stacked diapers, others wrapped them, while the rest packed them into boxes and placed them in designated areas. This coordinated approach allowed the team to work smoothly and productively. Their dedication, strong collaboration, and focus enabled them to pack a remarkable number of diapers. The group’s enthusiasm and commitment made a meaningful contribution to the success of the event!

On Feb 21st, VT Seva NJ returned to the Arm In Arm food pantry to keep the momentum going. Our team worked efficiently to pack 80 bags of essential groceries for families in our community. 🛒💪 Every bag packed is a step toward a hunger-free neighborhood!

On March 21st, 2026 30 of our amazing VT Seva volunteers teamed up with Loops4LittleOnes to learn crochet and hand-craft items for donation. Huge thanks to everyone who brought their energy and creativity!

On March 19th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers supported activities at the Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina, assisting with various programs. This effort was meaningful to the community members who attended and participated. Throughout the event, the volunteers remained focused and committed to their responsibilities. Their dedication, teamwork, and discipline greatly contributed to the smooth functioning of the programs at the temple. Three youth volunteers actively participated in different activities, demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong spirit of contribution. We thank the SV Temple for this opportunity, and we hope to have more in the future!

IAE VTS Club came together and helped run a Math Kangaroo Competition at the Sri Balaji Temple with around 85 kids competing! Volunteers helped run the event in various ways such as helping at the registration tables, proctoring the exam, and helping the kids if they have any questions during the test

On Mar 15th 2026, VT Seva Chicago volunteers had great time in handcrafting Forget-Me-Not flowers to honor our veterans. This initiative was a rewarding way for the team to show our gratitude. Each flower was made with care and intention, serving as a small but sincere token of our lasting appreciation. The shared joy and sense of accomplishment made this a memorable group activity. While crafting the flowers we also played “imposter” game for extra fun. Thank you everyone for your time & participation.

On March 15th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers participated in Creek Week 2026 Stormwater Drain Assessments, supporting local environmental conservation efforts. Our 5 youth volunteers and 1 adult volunteer began by reviewing procedures before surveying storm drains in the area, inspecting each for signs of clogging or discoloration. Volunteers labeled drains, recorded observations using a town-provided app, and helped assess approximately 50 drains across the community. Through their initiative and teamwork, volunteers contributed valuable data while raising awareness about environmental sustainability and protecting local waterways.

VT Seva Austin youth volunteer team worked together to move items from storage, organize them in different sheds, and even clean up the walls. They also had the opportunity to spend some time meeting and interacting with the adult residents in the house. It was a meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Our wonderful volunteers came together to make sandwiches, pack lunch bags, and write thoughtful notes for the children. It’s a simple act of kindness that can bring comfort and smiles to children and their families while they are going through healing and recovery at the hospitals. 😊 Volunteering in small ways like this truly makes a meaningful difference.

On March 14th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers partnered with the Town of Morrisville for a cleanup event at Crabtree Creek, working to protect and preserve the local environment. Our 3 youth volunteers actively picked up trash throughout the creek and surrounding areas, helping create a cleaner and healthier space for nature to thrive. Throughout the event, volunteers demonstrated strong attentiveness and responsibility, earning praise from both the Youth Lead and Youth Board for their efforts. Their dedication and teamwork made a positive impact on the community, and we are proud of the example they set in promoting environmental stewardship.
