Ten youth volunteers from VT Seva Cary supported the Apex Juneteenth Festival. They helped with setup, guided attendees, and celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity. Their service highlighted youth leadership and strengthened community togetherness.

Car Wash Fundraiser a Sunny Success!!!!🫧🫧🚗🚗 On a very hot, sunny day, a group of 10 enthusiastic kids rolled up their sleeves for a meaningful cause. With buckets, soap, scrubbers, posters and plenty of teamwork, they managed to raise a total of $365 to support one NethraVidyalaya student's education. Their teamwork, energy, and community spirit made a real difference—and showed how even small efforts can lead to big impact.

Just like in past years, VT Seva Houston collaborated with Fort Bend commissioner Pct.3 Andy Meyers on the occasion of Fort Bend County’s 3rd Annual International Yoga Day on June 21, 2025. It was an honor to meet the chief guest of the event, Sugarland Mayor Carol McCutcheon. Our awesome volunteers jumped in to help with registration and hand out water bottles to keep everyone cool and hydrated and post event cleanup activities. The day was all about celebrating the amazing benefits of yoga for our health and well-being.

VT Seva Atlanta proudly organized a special yoga session on International Yoga Day, June 21, 2025, to promote the physical and emotional well-being of our members. The session was led by our certified yoga instructor, Swamy Vendra, who guided participants through proper techniques for various asanas and pranayama practices. This event was part of our ongoing wellness initiative — weekly Saturday morning yoga sessions, which have been held consistently since January 1, 2025, and continue to this day. These sessions have become a source of renewed energy, inner peace, and community connection for all participants. We are grateful to Swamy Vendra and all our dedicated members for embracing this journey toward better health and mindfulness. 🧘‍♂️🌿✨

Adopt‑a‑Street – Cary Location Youth volunteers from VT Seva Cary participated in the Adopt‑a‑Street program, dedicating their time to cleaning and beautifying the local area. They collected litter, refreshed the surroundings, and promoted environmental responsibility through their service. This effort not only improved the appearance of the community but also reflected VT Seva’s commitment to sustainability and civic engagement. Each year, we continue to grow—and this year’s turnout, energy, and spirit were simply unmatched. This year's spirited tournament not only brought together passionate players, families, and volunteers but also helped us raise enough funds to support the education of 𝟏𝟐 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. 🎉VT Seva Atlanta Youth Workshop at Laurel Heights Hospital – A Day of Service, Smiles, and Solidarity 🎉 On June 20, 2025, VT Seva Atlanta proudly organized a Workshop at the Laurel Heights Hospital, creating a heartfelt and impactful experience for both our youth volunteers and the Special Needs children receiving treatment. This initiative provided a unique opportunity for young minds to engage meaningfully with doctors and special needs children during their summer care programs. The event began by sharing beautifully handcrafted “Thank You” cards to the hospital’s doctors and staff in appreciation of their unwavering dedication. During a warm “Greet and Meet” session, the youth introduced themselves, shared their fields of interest, and actively participated in a Q&A session with the hospital’s medical professionals, engaging in thoughtful discussions across a variety of topics. As a token of care and creativity, our youths presented cards & notebooks adorned with inspiring hand-designed cover pages to the children at the hospital. The day continued with three engaging, hands-on activity sessions: 1. Art & Creativity: In honor of the upcoming July 4th celebrations, participants created origami versions of the national bird and crafted photo frames using the colors of the American flag — encouraging creativity and patriotism. 2. Taekwondo & Self-Defense: Volunteers introduced basic Taekwondo techniques, teaching the importance of self-defense, discipline, and moral character. 3. Dance & Movement: The final session brought everyone together in a joyful dance segment that lifted spirits and added energy and laughter to the day. These thoughtful, inclusive activities not only uplifted the Special Needs kids but also inspired our volunteers, reminding all involved in the power of service and compassion.✌️♥️✌️ We extend our heartfelt thanks to Laurel Heights Hospital for their collaboration and support, and to our dedicated youth volunteers for their passion, empathy, and unwavering commitment to making a difference. Together, we created lasting memories and strengthened the bonds of community service. 💫💖

On June 1, VT Seva Cary organized a heartfelt service project to celebrate Father’s Day. Forty-two dedicated volunteers came together, each contributing an hour of their time to create beautifully handcrafted cards for local seniors. This initiative aimed to spread warmth and appreciation to fathers who may otherwise feel overlooked. The personalized messages and creative designs served as a touching reminder that they are valued and remembered. Through this effort, VT Seva Cary volunteers not only shared joy but also strengthened the spirit of community and compassion. Small gestures can make a big difference—and together, we made Father’s Day truly special.

This weekend, VTSEVA volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on experience in San Jose, diving into an exciting RAFT activity! We helped sort, quality-check, and pack essential supplies for teachers—making sure everything was ready to support classrooms in need. It was a fun and fulfilling day of teamwork, service, and community impact!

Our wonderful volunteers helped pack and create sandwiches at the RMHC facility, which allowed us to donate 45 to 50 sandwiches to the Dell Children's hospital. Great job guys!

Atlanta VT Seva youth came together for a vibrant weekend of creative expression and environmental awareness. The group designed and painted eco-friendly fabric bags, customized notebook covers, and worked on unique laser-engraved art projects. 🎨🖼️🎉 This talented and thoughtful group of young adults used their artwork to promote the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. One standout initiative involved repurposing used notebooks by transforming them into new ones, each adorned with beautifully hand-decorated covers themed around environmental protection. 🌱📓♻️ From artistic rangoli patterns to custom coasters, bags, and more, the event was a wonderful display of teamwork, creativity, and purpose. It was heartwarming to see both youths and adults fully engaged, having fun while contributing to a meaningful cause! 🧩🛍️🫟 Our youth proudly showcased their artwork on June 14th at the VT Seva & JET Retreat. We were honored to have HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji visit our display. His appreciation for our Braille cards, newly created notebooks, rangoli designs, diyas, and other creative works deeply touched us. It was a truly memorable event—one we will cherish forever. ✌️♥️✌️
