We had to carefully stay on the sides within the grass as this road did not have a sidewalk. Made possible by a “buddy” system, pairing each child with an able-bodied peer, creating bonds that are truly unique. It serves children with physical or mental disabilities who may be excluded from traditional leagues. This opportunity would not have been possible without the 13 youth volunteers and 1 adult volunteer who came and helped keep a smile on the special needs children. We hope to continue supporting them!
