Texas Diaper Bank provides diapers and incontinence supplies to people in need and counts on local volunteers to help sort, pack, and deliver the supplies. VT Seva San Antonio helped pack diapers on Oct 25th, 2025. Thanks to all our youth and adult volunteers to participated in the service.

Troy High VTS volunteers played a key role at the Detroit Free Press Marathon, an annual race between Detroit and Windsor. They guided runners, handed out water, and helped with setup and cleanup.

VTS Troy IAE club volunteers, went to the autistic play place and helped Mrs. Jones create a paper tree and wooden hearts with families names.

VTSEVA DETROIT YOUTH BOARD has collected 113 pairs of gently used eyeglasses to donate to those in need in Sri Lanka through Sigaram Foundation. The Sigaram Foundation is a charitable organization focused on empowering marginalized Tamil communities in Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu. In Sri Lanka, frames for glasses tend to cost around 10,000 rupees, or about $119, even without lenses. In the small, off-the-grid town of Omanthai, village residents simply cannot afford these glasses. However, the demand for glasses is still needed there, and visual problems are only rising. By donating old, used glasses in good shape, participants of this drive allowed for the people of Omanthai, Sri Lanka to be prescribed and sent glasses by a local doctor free of charge. Thanks to all the participants for giving a second chance to your glasses and a better vision to those in need.

Volunteers had a wonderful time at our Cat Scratch Board event! Everyone worked hard to make it a success, and it was amazing to see the teamwork and effort put in to help support the animals. A big thank you to all the dedicated volunteers for your time and energy—you made this event possible!

On the morning of Sunday Oct 19th, twelve of our youth volunteers and two adult volunteers had a wonderful time cheering on runners during the Bull City Racefest. Our volunteers partook in numerous tasks ranging from setting up tables, passing out gatorade/water, cheering on the runners, and cleaning up. It was such an engaging event full of laughter and excitement. Vt Seva Cary is honored to have this opportunity once again, and we deeply look forward to the next event.

San Antonio branch volunteered at San Antonio Food Bank helping sort over 7000 lb of food on Oct 18th, 2025. We appreciate all our volunteers who give their time to monthly service.

Each board member is encouraged to invite at least two new individuals to learn about VT Seva and its mission. 💬 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Members were encouraged to share any new ideas or questions in the group to ensure everyone stays involved and engaged in planning and executing these impactful events.

Our seven youth volunteers and adult volunteers worked together on 10/16/2025 to help package meals for those who are most in need within our community. Our volunteers showcased their commitment to ensuring that everyone has the basic right of having a nourishing meal to eat. Vt Seva is beyond grateful for the ability to work with Rise Against Hunger in Raleigh, to work towards a greater cause, and brighter future. Our volunteers had an amazing time, and we look forward to continuing this event over the years. They packaged over 40,000 meals which truly made a great difference! Thank you to Rise Against Hunger for providing our volunteers with the tools to make a change.

VT SEVA Maryland Participated in the Winter Coat and Clothing Giveaway. VT Seva Maryland once again partner with wonderful volunteers of the Child Advocacy Center for their annual Children’s Clothing Giveaway. Inika Keranahalli Youth leader of the Maryland VTSeva Branch lead the event, which took place on October 18th from 8:00 am to 12 pm at West Frederick Middle School. Here is a small write up about the event from Inika. We are very thankful we got a very good opportunity to volunteer and help people in need during this clothing drive. All the volunteers of VT seva Maryland helped to sort the clothes by size and type, then arrange them neatly on the tables and racks. It was a bit of hard work at first because there were so many donations, but it felt good to see everything organized and ready for families who came in. When people arrived to pick out coats and clothes, We helped them find the right sizes and made sure everyone got something warm for winter. Seeing their smiles and hearing their thank-yous made me feel proud and happy that I could make a small difference. It was a great experience that taught me how teamwork and kindness can really help others. The event's success was largely due to the support of dedicated volunteers. By 5:00 PM, our team was in full swing, greeting guests with cheerful smiles, guiding them through the event, and spreading the joy of Diwali.
