VT Seva Detroit 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament

VT Seva Detroit is organizing the 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Sep 20th, 2026,ย starting at 9:00 AM in SPARC, Novi, MI.ย 

Proceeds from this tournament will go to schools in India for visually challenged children. VT Seva supports Schools for visually challenged students in India, such as Nethra Vidyalaya. These schools provide higher education to visually challenged students and enable them to be independent and compete with other students.

VTSeva Chicago volunteers went to Northern Illinois Food Bank to pack potatoes! During this activity, we even added a personal touch by packing a few heart-shaped potatoes, sending our love to those in need. This session was a unique experience for us as we all played a part to make a positive impact on someoneโ€™s life!

A group of volunteers from Chicagoย came together to show appreciation for our everyday heroes โ€” the doctors who work tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. With creativity, care, and a whole lot of heart, handcrafted beautiful origami flowers as a small token of gratitude.ย  Thank you to our amazing volunteers for turning paper into petals, and appreciation into art. You truly made a difference!

VT Seva Houston- Susan G. Komen Race for Breast cancer

On October 4th, 2025, VT SEVA Houston members volunteered at the Susan G. Komen Race, an organization that supports women who battle breast cancer and honoring those who have lost their fight. Our volunteers assisted participants by passing out water and fruits, while enthusiastically cheering them on throughout the course. Despite the early morning start, our membersโ€™ dedication and enthusiasm never wavered. As an organization committed to service, VT Seva strives to make a positive impact to uplift communities and extend heartfelt support to those affected by breast cancer. Chicago - Posters making for presenting at Green Fair

On Sunday, September 14, a group of volunteers came together in a youth center to make trifold for green fair. These trifles included habits that better fit the environment, like waste materials, and waste management rules. These posters will be presented at Green Fair . Visitors will be encouraged to change small habits which can have bigger impact on the environment.

Our VT Seva Detroit youth volunteers spent the morning serving at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit, an organization that provides meals and support to homeless individuals, low-income families, and senior citizens in need. Together, we served over 350 people! The group worked side by side packaging meals and assembling trays that were later distributed to underprivileged members of the Detroit community who rely on the soup kitchen daily. This experience gave our youth a new perspective on the importance of helping those in need while also highlighting the power of teamwork and compassion. We are very proud of our volunteers for dedicating their time and energy to make a difference!

VT Seva Maryland - LHS VTS Club Conducts Stadium Cleanup at LHS

On October 4th, the VTS Club at Linganore High School organized a stadium cleanup event, promoting community service and environmental responsibility. Vickery Creek Middle School VT Seva Youth Club held its first meeting on Sunday, October 4th 2025, where student leaders introduced the VT Seva mission, shared the club's objectives, and outlined the planned activities for the upcoming quarter. It was a strong and promising start, with great enthusiasm from the participants. The club is looking forward to involving more students in upcoming volunteer initiatives such as the Candy Drive, Card-Making for a Cause, and the Badminton Tournament. Exciting opportunities ahead for youth to learn, lead, and serve!

VTS Detroit - Troy High - Cancer Awareness Poster and Club Meeting

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the Green Fair! We had a great time sharing simple ways to protect the environment, like turning off lights and fans when not in use and taking shorter showers. We also helped raise awareness about which items shouldn't go in the trash or recycling bins. Wonderful work by all, thanks again for being part of it!

Throughout September 2025, VT Seva Cary 30 youth volunteers dedicated their Sundays to building meaningful relationships with special needs children @ Asha Foundation. For four consecutive weeks, our volunteers met for 1.5 hours every Sunday, engaging in heartwarming activities that brought smiles, laughter, and love. On September 28, we wrapped up the month with a beautiful day of celebrationโ€”filled with arts and crafts, games, music, and storytelling. These moments werenโ€™t just funโ€”they were transformative. Volunteers and children connected deeply, shared joy, and created friendships that go beyond words. ๐ŸŒŸ Thank You, Volunteers! Your consistency, compassion, and enthusiasm made a lasting impact. Week after week, you showed up with open hearts and helped create a space of inclusion, warmth, and joy. Sunrise Senior Care Service

VT Seva Caryโ€™s First Visit to Sunrise Senior Care: A Heartwarming Start! ๐ŸŒŸOn September 28th 2025. 9 youth and 2 adult volunteers from VT Seva Cary embarked on a beautiful new journeyโ€”bringing joy, laughter, and companionship to the residents of Sunrise Senior Care. It was our first-ever intergenerational outreach event at this location, and the smiles said it all! ๐Ÿค Building Bridges Across GenerationsOur young changemakers lit up the room with: Cheerful conversations and playful activities Genuine connections that warmed hearts A spirit of service that uplifted everyone involved From sharing stories to playing games, every interaction was a reminder of the power of kindness. The seniors felt seen and celebrated, while our youth discovered the importance of empathy and the joy of making a difference. Thank you to Sunrise Senior Care for welcoming us so warmly. We look forward to many more moments of connection and care.
