VT Seva Cary Financial Literacy Camp

The camp will be held online from August 10โ€“20 everyday from 6:00 โ€“ 7:00 PM ET (daily) , making it accessible from anywhere. Students will gain valuable knowledge about managing money, making smart financial decisions, and developing responsible spending and saving habits. The registration fee is $25 per student, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Nethra Vidyalaya schools to support education for visually challenged students.

VT Seva Seattle Coding Camp

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your summer? Enroll your child in ROAD2CODE, a live virtual coding camp designed for students ages 10โ€“14. Whether your child is new to programming or eager to build on their skills, this camp offers an engaging introduction to Java programming through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, and exciting challenges.

VT Seva Detroit 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament

VT Seva Detroit is organizing the 13th Annual Volleyball Tournament on Sep 20th, 2026,ย starting at 9:00 AM in SPARC, Novi, MI.ย 

Proceeds from this tournament will go to schools in India for visually challenged children. VT Seva supports Schools for visually challenged students in India, such as Nethra Vidyalaya. These schools provide higher education to visually challenged students and enable them to be independent and compete with other students.

Marylandโ€™s Annual Young Entrepreneurs Challenge

Day 2: Competition โ€“ students put their ideas to work with professionalism, creativity, and energy that made the event truly special. VT Seva NJโ€™s International Yoga Day celebration!

From the peaceful yoga session to the positive energy shared throughout the event, the morning was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and healthy living. The incredible women of VT Seva Maryland decided to celebrate Motherโ€™s Day by giving back to the community they love and nurture every day! ๐ŸŒฟ Service in Action: Adopt-A-Road Cleanup ๐ŸŒฟ Led by Mrs. Deepa Parida, our dedicated volunteers spent Sunday morning clearing litter and debris to keep our community clean, safe, and green. A huge thank you to Branch Director Sobana Ji, Prasamsha Ji, Arti Ji, and Sandhya Ji for your hard work and leadership! โœจ Deepa Ji shares: "I had the privilege of leading this Adopt-A-Road initiative alongside such dedicated volunteers. Working together reinforced how powerful service can be โ€” through teamwork and environmental stewardship, we make a real difference in our neighborhoods." Thank you to Deepa Ji and the entire team for showing how small actions create big impact.

VTS Detroit - WIHI VTS Club - Book Kits

WIHI VTSeva hosted a โ€œMake It, Take Itโ€ reading kit program at the Ypsilanti District Library. We collected book donations at WIHI, which we then used to create kits with coloring pages and books for students at the library to enjoy! We had so much fun seeing kids and families color together and we loved reading the books with them!

Plarn making for plastic mats

On May 30th, VTSeva Chicago volunteers came together to reuse plastic bags into yarn for an organization called The Gratitude Generation. Using the yarn, they will make mats and donate them to the homeless shelter. Overall VTSeva volunteers made 8 balls of plastic yarn. Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated.

Annual Walkathon for Free Cancer Screening

On Sunday May 31st, more than 30 youth and adult volunteers gathered at Thompson Park in Monroe to participate in our charity Walkathon. All proceeds raised from todayโ€™s event will go directly toward funding free cancer screening camps for women in rural India. Event Highlights: Location: Thompson Park, Monroe Turnout: 30+ dedicated youth and adult volunteers Cause: Supporting healthcare and early cancer detection for women in rural India Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate, walk, and support this vital health initiative. Best Buddies

On May 31st, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers participated in Best Buddies, spending time with children with developmental disabilities through games, activities, and social interaction. Our 6 youth volunteers worked one-on-one with their buddies, helping create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Throughout the event, volunteers encouraged participation, built friendships, and ensured that every child felt welcomed and included. The experience allowed volunteers to make meaningful connections while bringing joy and encouragement to the children and their families.

VT SEVA Detroit Youth led SNEAKER DRIVE 2026

In May 2026, VT SEVA Detroit youth Board members collected around 150 pairs of gently used shoes to support VT SEVA Detroit Feeding Hope program. Collected items were carefully sorted by the youth leads to bag and ship them to *"GotSneakers"* organization. These shoes will help reuse, recycle, and donate the items to benefit children, low-income families, and the homeless in underprivileged countries. If these donated pairs are in Excellent condition, *"GotSneakers"* will compensate us with some $'s, and all funds collected through this drive will be donated to *VTSEVA "Feeding Hope" program*.

VTS Detroit - Plymouth Scholars VTS Club - DAV Event 3

Durham Rescue Mission

On May 30th, 2026, VT Seva Cary volunteers assisted at the Durham Rescue Mission, helping support individuals in need through meal service and other assigned tasks. Our 6 youth volunteers and 1 adult volunteer worked together to ensure the event ran smoothly, serving guests with kindness and respect while assisting staff wherever needed. Throughout the event, volunteers remained engaged and contributed to creating a welcoming environment for members of the community. The experience provided a meaningful opportunity to give back and support those facing difficult circumstances.

Adopt-a-Highway cleanup

VT Seva Houston - Celebrating our High School graduates

On May 23, 2026, VT Seva Houston proudly hosted a Graduation Celebration to honor our high school graduates. It was a memorable and joyous event that brought together families, friends, and community members to celebrate this important milestone. The evening featured inspiring and motivational speeches by our own Dr. Ranganath Kandala and Sri Vijay Jellidimudi, whose words encouraged our graduates as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. The celebration also included fun-filled games, vibrant cultural performances by our enthusiastic youth members, and a sumptuous dinner enjoyed by all. Supporting the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen

On Saturday May 23rd, 2026 our VT Seva volunteers spent the day serving at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). The team worked together to pack three trays of bread and assisted in serving meals to approximately 100 individuals. Following the meal service, volunteers stayed to clean and sanitize the dining area tables and chairs.
