VT Seva Earth Day Tree Planting Drive
Let’s make history together! All VT Seva branches are coming together to plant 2,026+ trees in 2026 as part of our Earth Day initiative. This is the first combined tree planting event.
We will provide Free tree saplings for children! All registered children will receive Certificate of Recognition and service hours for their participation along with free tree sapling.

Austin VT Seva - DAV Forget Me Not Flower making

On February 1, 15 amazing VTSeva volunteers came together to create “Forget Me Not” flowers in honor of Disabled American Veterans. With every flower folded and every stem assembled, our youth volunteers poured in gratitude, respect, and love for the veterans who have given so much in service to our country. Moments like these remind us that small acts—when done together—can carry deep meaning. Thank you to our volunteers for showing compassion through action and helping us remember those who should never be forgotten.

VT Seva Detroit Arts and Scraps, Group 2 Feb , 2026 Remote Project

We defuzzed 13 huge bags of sock loops. The sock loops were given to Arts and Scraps. The sock loops are distributed to Detroit and used in many art projects. A committed group of youth members and adults were able to put time into getting bags of the goods and sending them back when completed. A vital nonprofit organization that supports schools in the Detroit area by providing tools such as the sock loops to use in art projects.

VTS Detroit - IAE VTS Club - Snowcraft Kit Making

On January 27th, members of the IAE VTS Club came together to create snowman craft kits for the Children’s Hospital, hoping to bring a little joy to young patients during their stay. Each kit included paper cutouts and glue sticks, allowing kids build their own snowman and enjoy a moment of fun. In total, 50 kits were made!

Beautify Parkview II Park with Team Mat Mahan

VT SEVA YB Plastic Grocery Bag Drive

For this grocery bag drive *VTSEVA DETROIT Youth Board* collected about *1,600 clean plastic bags* to give to *Open Door Ministries*. They will be using these bags to package goods and other necessities for people in need.

The VTS Denmark School Youth Club, led by 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐲𝐚 along with a team of 𝟵 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨, conducted a special jacket collection 🧥drive 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 , by placing drop boxes in nearby areas. VT Seva Detroit ,January 19, 2026 volunteering at the 16th Annual Destined for Greatness MLK Day Event

Youth Lead: Varun Aerabati As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. beautifully said, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” On January 19th (MLK Day), VT Seva Detroit proudly partnered with Destined for Greatness to support their major MLK Day community event, serving 200–300 underserved families in Detroit. During this impactful day of service, Destined for Greatness distributed essential items to families in need. VT Seva Detroit volunteers played an active role by sorting and organizing basic necessities such as shoes, toys, clothing, bedding, and more. In addition, our volunteers completed a large-scale cleanout of two floors of a pharmacy, helping prepare and organize critical resources for continued community support. This meaningful day truly reflected the spirit of MLK Day—coming together to uplift, serve, and strengthen our community.

VT Seva Houston - Houston Food Bank

On Saturday, January 18th, our VT Seva Houston volunteers had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at the Houston Food. Together, we helped pack 13,681 meals, filling 18 pallets, and handling over 16,418 pounds of food. It was wonderful to see how much we can accomplish when we come together as a team. On Jan 18, VT Seva NJ joined forces with Arm In Arm to fight food insecurity. 🍎 Our 14 youth and 5 adult volunteers worked tirelessly to pack and distribute groceries to local families.
