Cancer Walkathon

Our annual cancer walkathon was a great success this year with a crowd of around 80 people! It was great seeing everyone back in person and we had a lot of fun. Through this event we raised awareness of the different cancers through poster presentations and special guest doctors who spoke about the disease. We also raised money to fund cancer health camps back in India. Overall, the event was a huge success and it was a great learning experience for everyone as well as a fun gathering and way to give back to the community.

Disable kids volunteering

Kids had a great time at the camp sunshine and camp snowflake. The kids at these camps are developmentally disabled some of them physically too. Most of the kids had to cut the pizza into pieces and feed them too. They were talking to them and playing with them. Camp organizers really appreciated the support. They said the kids bonded immediately. Few of the kids were non verbal. The staff and our volunteers took them out for a walk for an hour. They had snacks brought by Sujatha. We also had a great time. the camp gave them voluntary hours for their work and Vtseva for their travel.
