VT Seva Atlanta West Forsyth Highschool - DAV Flower Making Activit
VTS West Forsyth Highschool - DAV Flower Making Activity 🌼 Students from West Forsyth High School led a meaningful DAV Flowers event, bringing youth together to create handmade flowers for disabled veterans. Each flower—crafted with care and gratitude—served as a heartfelt symbol of appreciation for the veterans’ service and sacrifice. The event fostered collaboration, creativity, and compassion, reminding everyone of the importance of giving back to those who have given so much for our country!

VT Seva Atlanta Candy Drive
ATL Candy Drive was a huge success. We collected 300 lbs of candy from 22 youth clubs to bring smiles to American troops stationed on the borders. Our generous dentist, Dr. Praveen, was deeply impressed with everyone’s efforts and gifted each child a goodie bag containing a mug, toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss. He also donated a $1,000 check to support visually challenged students — a thoughtful contribution that will leave a lasting impact! 👏♥️✌️

🌟VT Seva ATL Denmark High School Youth Board Meeting 🌟

Each board member is encouraged to invite at least two new individuals to learn about VT Seva and its mission. 💬 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Members were encouraged to share any new ideas or questions in the group to ensure everyone stays involved and engaged in planning and executing these impactful events.

🏸 🎉 VT Seva ATL's 1st Badminton Tournament - A Smashing Success! 🎉🏸
On October 12th, VT Seva Atlanta hosted its first-ever Badminton Tournament, and what an incredible event it was! With over 60 youth participants, the day was filled with fun, fitness, and fundraising — all for a meaningful cause. ♥️ We are proud to share that proceeds from this tournament will support two blind/visually challenged students from Nethra Vidyalaya, India. Your participation and generosity are making a real difference!✌️ 🙌 A Huge Shout-Out to the Lambert & Alliance Youth Teams! Thank you for leading this initiative with heart, dedication, and true community spirit. Your leadership made this event a reality! 🏆 Celebrating Our Champions! VT Seva ATL Community Booth
On October 11th, VT Seva Atlanta organized a community booth to raise awareness about volunteering opportunities and to support the education of students at Nethra Vidyalaya. ♥️✌️ A dedicated team of youth and adults came together to make the event a success. The booth featured a variety of plants—including Tulsi, Ajwain, and Insulin plants—alongside beautifully crafted rangoli ✴️ and vibrant diyas. 🪔Thanks to everyone’s support, we successfully raised more than $230 for this noble cause! We’re excited to share that over 30 new volunteers joined the VT Seva Atlanta family, expressing interest in upcoming service activities! 🌟🌟

Vickery Creek Middle School VT Seva Youth Club held its first meeting on Sunday, October 4th 2025, where student leaders introduced the VT Seva mission, shared the club's objectives, and outlined the planned activities for the upcoming quarter. It was a strong and promising start, with great enthusiasm from the participants. The club is looking forward to involving more students in upcoming volunteer initiatives such as the Candy Drive, Card-Making for a Cause, and the Badminton Tournament. Exciting opportunities ahead for youth to learn, lead, and serve!

🪔🪔 VT Seva ATL Lambert High School Diya Workshop 🪔🪔
On September 27th VT Seva ATL Lambert High School organized a Diya Workshop. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁! 🌸 We loved seeing everyone bring their imagination to life by painting and decorating beautiful diyas. From bright patterns to glittering designs, each diya was unique and filled with joy. 𝑨 𝒃𝒊𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒔𝒐 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍. 🌟 Your enthusiasm turned this session into more than just an art activity—it became a celebration of togetherness, tradition, and creativity. In this workshop they raised $150 and during the 2025 SUBHA event they have raised $72 with the artwork that the youths participated throughout the year.

On September 25th, 2025 VT Seva ATL Lambert High School Youth Club held its first meeting of the year at the school library. 💫💫 During the session, student leaders shared the mission of VT Seva, outlined the goals of the youth club, and presented an overview of this year’s planned service activities. They also actively discussed organizing an upcoming Badminton Tournament — covering ideas for flyers, promo videos, and event logistics.🌟🌟 It was a great display of teamwork and initiative by the Lambert Youth Club. We’re looking forward to a fantastic tournament ahead. Kudos to the Lambert youth team! ♥️✌️

On September 21, 2025, VT Seva Atlanta proudly hosted its 5th annual flagship event, 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐇𝐀 - 𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. Our talented youth lit up the stage with 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and prayers by our Prajna students, setting a sacred and meaningful tone for the evening. We were deeply honored to welcome distinguished guests including: Shri Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consul General of India, Mr. Corey Jackson, CEO, Laurel Heights Hospital. Dr. Madhuri Seth, Mr. Pramod Sajja, CEO, Farm to Plate, Dr. Venkat, Cumming Dental Following a warm welcome from our dynamic emcees, both the American and Indian National Anthems were presented, celebrating pride and unity. Dr. Madhu Nemani, Director of VT Seva Atlanta, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the chapter’s inspiring journey and exponential 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. She shared that VT Seva Atlanta now has: Over 1,500 dedicated volunteers, 22 VT Seva Youth Clubs across middle schools, high schools, and universities and more than 70 service activities organized till date just in 2025 alone! She reminded us that “𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞." Through dance, music, and spoken word, youth performers shared their vision of a sustainable future, inspiring all to protect and cherish Mother Earth. 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐇𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: A powerful 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐇𝐀 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐦, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐝 by our youth, and performed by participants of all ages — showcasing unity across generations. A dynamic 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 performance electrified the stage. 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 beautifully captured the spirit of compassion, responsibility, and volunteerism that defines SUBHA. From captivating cultural expressions to empowering messages, 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐇𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. The VT Seva ATL Youth Club meeting held on September 5th was truly productive, inspiring, and energizing! 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟕 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝟓 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬, came together to share their ongoing activities and exciting plans for the next quarter. Youth leaders openly discussed their challenges, accomplishments, and upcoming initiatives, while receiving valuable feedback, encouragement, and ideas from one another. 🌿✨ 🌸 VT Seva ATL - 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 🌸 ✨🌿
On August 30, 2025, at Dhriti’s Mehndi Ceremony, youth volunteers Harini Thanabalan and Shivani Thanabalan brought their creativity to life through Henna for a Cause 🎨✨. With their beautiful designs, they raised $280, and all of the proceeds are being donated to Nethra Vidyalaya to support food and education for visually challenged children 🍎📚. The celebration was full of excitement 🎶💃🏽🍴 — colorful outfits, joyful dances, and heartfelt moments created an atmosphere of happiness and tradition. Amidst all the fun, Harini and Shivani were proud to give back to the community and spread positivity through their efforts ❤️. Dhriti and her sister were very kind, and overall, Harini and Shivani enjoyed this event a lot 🌸💖. It was truly a fun, meaningful, and inspiring weekend, showing how today’s youth can use their talents to make a difference 🌍✨.
