WIHI VTSeva hosted a “Make It, Take It” reading kit program at the Ypsilanti District Library. We collected book donations at WIHI, which we then used to create kits with coloring pages and books for students at the library to enjoy! We had so much fun seeing kids and families color together and we loved reading the books with them!

In order to spread joy and give back to the world, WiHi VTS Club made 60 bracelets for students at the Nethra Vidyalaya school for blind children in India. Not only was this an extremely wonderful and fulfilling event for participants, but it was also the first of its kind!

VT Seva Detroit wishes Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! As we turn to the season of celebration, it's important to keep those in mind who don't get to celebrate as much as we do. For Mother's Day 2026, VT Seva Detroit youths came together to create beautiful Mother's Day and thinking of your cards for the women of Manoogian Manor. These amazing ladies often do not get the chance to celebrate Mother's Day, and we are so grateful to have been able to make a difference in their lives and hopefully brighten their day as they are reminded that they are loved during this time of year. We love to see their smiles every year as they read through our cards and cannot wait to do this again next year!

IAE VTS Club came together to make Mother’s Day Cards! These cards were sent to residents at the American House Somerset Senior Living Home. It was a great opportunity to spread kindness and celebrate the mothers in our community. In total, we were able to make 60 cards! We’re so proud to have been able to brighten someone’s day with thoughtful messages and handmade cards.

Every year, VT SEVA Detroit takes a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated police officers serving the Novi community. As a small gesture of appreciation, members visit the department each May, bringing along thoughtful goodies to thank the officers for their commitment and service. This year, the Youth Board members added a special, creative touch to the tradition. Demonstrating both talent and compassion, they hand-painted colorful rocks and crafted personalized cards to share with the officers. Each piece reflected a message of appreciation, making the gesture even more meaningful.

We’re glad that so many people were able to come and work together for such a great cause. It was so awesome to see the flowers come together so fast due to the hard work and the teamwork. We’re super excited to send these out to give these to the local DAV chapter to hand out!

Members from the IAE VTS Club came together to make DAV Flowers to support veterans. These flowers are a symbol of remembrance and support towards veterans suffering from disabilities. IAE VTS members attached paper forget-me-nots to notecards and in total we were able to make around 1,000 flowers in total

Our team actively supported the initiative by planting trees, preparing soil, and ensuring proper placement to give each tree the best chance to thrive. During the event, we multitasked by digging planting holes, as well as carefully placing and securing trees. We also worked together to maintain efficiency and ensure all trees were planted correctly and safely. The Greening of Detroit plays a vital role in enhancing urban spaces by increasing tree coverage, improving air quality, and creating more sustainable neighborhoods for current and future generations. We are truly grateful to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to this initiative. Your teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to environmental sustainability made a meaningful impact on the community.

Destined for Greatness supports local families in need throughout the Detroit area, and it is an honor to work with them in serving our community. These are the activities done: * Organized huge bags of clothing in age-based sections * Prepared many food boxes for distribution * Our Adults volunteers involved in great amount of heavy duty lifting, sorting & organizing card board boxes * Cleaned the facility by moving racks and items into storage rooms

Our volunteers helped out at the Draw event's 5k run. The Bucket Run is a 5K run/walk benefiting Disaster Relief at Work's (DRAW) mission of providing relief services to communities that have been hit by natural disasters.
