On Friday, February 24th VTSeva Dallas youth volunteers visited the Scottish Rite hospital for Children to drop off a large collection of toys for the kids. The toys were collected as part of the Toy Drive the Youth Board conducted from late December to early January, in which many youth volunteers donated toys.
These toys will be given to the patients at the hospital to brighten their day and make them feel special. They are an important tool in providing comfort for the children. The board games that were donated will be staying at the hospital so that many kids can use them and play together!
The hospital staff was extremely appreciative of our volunteers’ efforts and were shocked by how many toys we collected! These toys will go to great use, and VTSeva Dallas will continue to hold further events like this to help out the community!
