Our Youth Volunteers from Dallas - Sahana and Sahiti Peechara and Sriram and Lakshman Vennamaneni researched and presented a wonderful step by step Guide to Composting for healthy gardens while protecting the environment. They did an awesome job of walking through the importance of composting, what can and can't be composted, the process of composting and finally the usage of the compost and the liquid fertilizer.
At the end of the presentation, they answered questions by participants patiently and utilized the opportunity to raise awareness about various activities of VT Seva. We are sharing the Presentation and Notes for your reference and hope you take advantage of this and grow wonderful home garden.
.Environment Protection of one of the four major service pillars of VT Seva. Several branches across US celebrate Earth day to raise awareness. Every year thousands of volunteer hours are spent on creek, street and park cleaning, planting at various community gardens, in addition to awareness camps.
