Communication is another area that should not be overlooked because technical findings often need to be understood by a wider audience. The College of Contract Management offers an expert witness course for professionals who want to explore this specialist career area. Reviewing the programme may help experienced practitioners see how the training could complement their current qualifications and knowledge. Experienced professionals sometimes reach a point where they want to use their knowledge in a different way, and expert witness practice can be one area to investigate. Existing expertise may be particularly useful when a dispute involves a subject that requires specialist interpretation.
