Looking back at 2025-2026 VTS, NFHS VTS team achieved many fun activities together. Our Volunteers brought a spark that makes the team stronger and created opportunities that brought the community together which shows true leadership and care for those around them.

Welcome Notes
09/01/2025
To launch off the new school year, we chose to create and distribute welcome cards for our freshmen here at North!! We came together as a club to generate pieces of advice and sketch colorful designs.
All students know how tough the transition from middle school to high school can be, so providing any sort of comfort was a must.
While the cards were small and simple, their impact was significant. While we passed the cards to freshmen throughout the week, we saw how their faces and bodies relaxed just from receiving a simple card!
Club Fair

On September 3rd, NFHS VTSeva hosted their annual Club Fair to introduce our branch to incoming freshmen and their families! Our members shared VTSEVA's mission, service opportunities, and the impact of being part of a community dedicated to giving back.
We were so excited to meet new faces, answer questions, and highlight how students can get involved. We can't wait to see the energy and ideas our newest members will bring to our club this year!!
Teacher Appreciation Week

NFHS VTS Club students were showing the love this Teacher Appreciation Week!
Taking time out of our homeroom to create personalized "thank-you!" cards was one way to honor the teachers who have enhanced the richness of our lives by inspiring us, providing valuable guidance, or being an adult to rely on in the lives of students in need of one Good teachers
are invaluable to society, and these cards help serve as a reminder of how much teachers help shape the next generation.
We wanted to express our gratitude towards the teachers who often do much more than they get credit for by doing their job!
Mental health Awareness

Mental health is a vital part of the human experience, especially for teenagers navigating the challenges of school and life. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, the VTS Club at North Farmington High School has taken a meaningful step in promoting Teen Mental Health Awareness.
To encourage mindfulness, self-care, and seeking help when needed, the club has created an impactful poster showcasing practical ways to improve mental health. Our club members hung these posters in various places in the school. These reminders serve as daily encouragement, helping students prioritize their well-being.
Staff Appreciation

To celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, NFHS VTS board members gifted special tokens of gratitude to our incredible staff. Every day, they go above and beyond to support our students, and this was our chance to give back to them!!
It was heartwarming to see smiles across the building as staff received their gifts. Their dedication, patience, and care make a difference not just in classrooms, but in the entire school community!
We are deeply thankful for all they do and hope this small gesture reminds them how valued they are. Our school thrives because of their hard work, kindness, and commitment to every student!!

Small flowers, big meaning
Our volunteering club spent the day making forget-me-not flowers for DAV to honor and remember those who have served.
Grateful for the chance to create something meaningful together and give back to our community.
Fleece and Thank You

VTS Club volunteered at Fleece and Thank You on May 17th to make fleece blankets for children in hospitals! It was such a fun, hands-on way to spread comfort, hope, and kindness, one blanket at a time! :
