Small Voices, Big Impact: VT Seva Maryland Public Speaking Workshop

VT Seva Maryland recently hosted a public speaking workshop designed to help young students build confidence, express their ideas, and discover the power of their own voices. Approximately 20 students from Grades 2 - 8 participated in a morning filled with learning, practice, confidence-building, and fun.

This workshop was thoughtfully planned and led by Manasvi Divi, whose initiative and dedication helped make the morning memorable. Through engaging activities, confidence-building exercises, and shared ideas, Manasvi and the VT Seva Maryland team created a supportive environment where students could find and express their voices.

What a wonderful morning of learning, confidence-building, and fun at our VT Seva Maryland Public Speaking Workshop!

Around 20 enthusiastic students from Grades 2–8 actively participated, shared their ideas, practiced speaking skills, and most importantly - found their voice! 🗣️✨

👏 The workshop was led with great support from student volunteers Akul Pallerla, Anwesha Parida, Tejasvi Divi, Joshua Cabral, Jethro Cabral, Taara Vasudevan and Mridula Vasudevan.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Prashamsa Muppavaram, our Adult Education Branch lead, and the VT Seva Maryland youth leaders for their guidance and support.

🌱 Special thanks to Mrs. Sobana Vasudevan, Branch Director of VT Seva Maryland, for encouraging our youth to step forward, lead, and create meaningful educational programs for the community.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Murali Divi (Manasvi’s Dad), for supporting and encouraging me throughout the planning and completion of this wonderful event. His support played an important role in helping me bring this workshop to life.
